I believe the page is valid, Evan. I've seen posts by the Facebook member who started the "3-D Godzilla" page and it appears this person is a Godzilla fan. I think this page is probably just this person's way of trying to promote the 3-D Godzilla movie project and generate interest in it and nothing more.

By "them" I'm assuming you're referring to Yoshimitsu Banno and anyone else working with Banno to try and secure the funds to get this film made. Evan, I'm quite sure these folks realized, and in advance, that they would need money to get this movie made.

 Avery, have you checked with Keith Aiken at Sci-Fi Japan about this update? He has a lot of industry contacts and might be able to firm up this news. Just a thought. Thanks for the update. I am 100% for seeing this 3-D Godzilla movie get made!

Well, as has been said the "imdb" is not a 100% dependable resource. What we would need would be an official confirmation from Sony themselves. What we have is the "imdb" data and an e-mail response from a worker at Electric Farm Ent., although just an intern, verifying that it is in [pre-]production for a 2011 date to go on. I heard That it will be coming out in 2011 now. Not bad, maybe there is hope. I just hope Banno doesn't make Goji fly again, whitch, I heard he may. |
