Here's a good fan-made link on the subject: http://www.supersentai.com/

batrus, tell me about the Power Rangers: when you first started watching them on television and your favorite characters. :)

They were deleted, batrus, because the episodes are copyrighted material, owned by either Toho or Tsuburaya, and YouTube is breaking the law by displaying these videos for others to watch. It's also why I asked you not to post any of these videos here.
The best way to watch these episodes is on DVD. Do you have any DVDs of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers? :)

I just thought I'd add that Power Rangers was actually made by TOEI (Kamen Rider, etc), not TOHO.
TOHO was responsible for a similar show called Megaloman (1979), this was basically a mixture between Ultraman (1966) and Go Ranger (the original Power Rangers series - Himitsu Sentai Gorenjâ, 1975); pretty good if you like either of the series mentioned above.

Well Packmule, the first time I saw the Power Rangers I was about 6 years old and I thought it was great; for a while it was probably my favourite show on TV. I still watch the show occassionally, but I don't think it's all that good when compared to other shows. Ultraman in the other hand is a series that I've always loved; I remember watching this when I was 4 (possibly even younger) and to this day Ultraman remains one of my all time favourite TV shows.

Also there was nothing innovative about Power Rangers:

1) The Rangers themselves were pretty much Kamen Rider except they were more; they even had the silly poses.

http://neworganizing.com/blog/uploaded_ima...gers-700021.jpg
2) Power Rangers used a transformation device (like Ultraman and Kamen Rider).

3) Giant Robots had been around for years before the Power Rangers, in shows such as Mazinger Z or UFO Robot Grendizer (Even Jumborg Ace); these robots were also piloted by people.

4) I've lost the count on all the times that I've been looking at Ultraman pictures/videos on the net and someone has said: "why are you looking at Power Rangers?" So there must be a link in there somewhere; I'd say that Power Rangers is a mixture of shows such as Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Mazinger Z. And although Power Rangers is good, it will never be that good.

So, in addition:

I remember watching some episodes of the first Power Rangers series. I thought one of them was very cute. I can't remember her name.
