However, Packmule, I CAN get you Donkey Kong.
I should be able to find it soon, when I do I'll post it. ;)

I can think of only one thing to say in response to this:

Okay Packmule, I got it!
Here's a pack of 105 classic games!
Just download and unzip!
After that simply open "MAME" and click on "Available" there you will see a list of all the games (including Donkey Kong). Mr Green
If you got any problems on how to run the games just ask.
GET IT WHILE ITS HOT!!!: GAMES!!!!
'The void is that which stands right in the middle between this and that. The void is all-inclusive, having no opposite — there is nothing which it excludes or opposes. It is living void, because all forms come out of it and whoever realizes the void is filled with life and power and the love of all things' - Bruce Lee

I am going to open up this file today and get these games going. Thanks again buddy! thumbs up

Anyone played either of these games in the PS2 format? I got Carol the first game, last Christmas and two guitar controllers and even though I don't play a ton of video games, I love this game! thumbs up I'm in the process of getting her Guitar Hero II for Christmas, this year. Some solid rock tunes on the first game and looks to be even more tuns on the second release. If you have a guitar player in your midst, this would be a great game to pick up or if someone just loves playing air guitar along with some cool tunes, this is definitely one worth looking into. I woke up at 4 am this morning and arrived at Toys R Us at about 5:30 am.
I had to wait in line until 9 am, but it was worth it.

I haven't been able to play it yet (I might not be able to until Christmas) but I got Red Steel and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I am super tired right now though...lol.

There's an old saying...Good things come to those who wait.. You just proved it again. Well done pal! :D

Ghost, I'm curious, with the PS3 platform and Nintendo's Wii basically hitting stores at the same time, I take it they are rival gaming systems? Assuming this much why "Wii" and why not buy PS3? Just curious as to the differences between the two, that's all. eyebrow

Well, what is your favorite video game?

I'm not sure I could really decide and be 100% sure...

But if Im gonna go with one, I gotta say Resident Evil (PS1, 1996)

This was the first game that ever actually scared me. I never thought I could be scared by a game. The atmospheric effects, the nerve grating silence and the limited supply of ammo had me hooked on the edge of my seat in suspense. I couldnt put the game down and missed a couple days of high school on this one. This title started the survival-horror genre and I believe it will always have a place in just about anyone's list of the greatest games of all time.

Nice choice, Matthew.

Doom 3 was a great game in my opinion as well. After Doom 2 we had a long drought but the game really advanced itself and the story was dark and foreboding. Not to mention the game really gave you a claustrophobic feeling when you navigated the dark narrow hallways and low to the ground tunnels. The creature designs in this game were top notch.

Though I rarely play video games of any kind I used to spend time at a mall video arcade when I was in high school and then partly while I was in college. The absolute best video game I ever played was called Galaga. I wonder if any video games today incorporate any aspects of this old classic. heyo

I have Galaga on one of those retro collection discs which includes multiple games from the past in one set. Galaga was always one of the better shoot em ups, in my opinion. I remember it in the arcade as a youngster, and it did eat a good amount of my quarters from time to time. cross-eyed

I can recall, as a high school teenager, visiting the video arcade at a nearby mall on weekends and often blowing more than $50 in quarters playing Galaga, Centipede and Pacman. wakawakawakawakawakawakawakawaka... that was the sound of my coins disappearing into the video game machines. freak out
