batrus, I went ahead and edited your "thread starter" post so that members here can understand(a little better) what this topic is about-I'm sure many casual Ultraman fans haven't even heard of the television series. I haven't seen a single episode of "Ultraman Mebius", at least not yet. ;)

This "Ultra" has some impressive powers and abilities. I'll post again about this "Ultra" in a day or two. Is he your favorite "Ultra" , batrus?

I saw the first episode of Mebius. It was okay. I liked how it was basically a continuation of the Showa Ultra shows.

I've seen a lot of Ultraman Mebius. It's a very nice series, and I do of course love how they bring back a lot of monsters for a rematch. The original Ultra Brothers all appear as well, but they're not overused in any way.

Finally, Bogar is probably my favorite Ultraman villain of all time.

How would you rate villains like Baltan-seijin, Zeton, and Zarab?

Zarab and Baltan are both awesome, and that is a fact. Zetton, I don't really care so much for, but there are worse.

When I was a member of the Monster Zero discussion forums I started a topic thread in which I suggested that even if Ultraman's color timer had not been damaged...Zeton would have defeated him anyway. I asked other members for their take on this: some agreed with me and some suggested Ultraman would have won had his color timer not been damaged. My reasoning as to why I believe Ultraman would have lost to Zeton anyway: Zeton appeared to be the aggressor in their fight in episode 39 of the original "Ultraman" series, and though Zoffy later told Ultraman in the sphere that his powers exceeded Zeton's I'm still somewhat skeptical of this declaration. Zeton appeared to have an answer for every action of Ultraman in their fight, and the fact he took Ultraman by surprise, absorbing Ultraman's spacium beam and redirecting it back into Ultraman's chest, lends me to think Ultraman was overconfident and perhaps too haphazard in his concentration during this battle...which would benefit Zeton. Opinions of this?

Well, the fact is Zeton DID win. Would he win again in a rematch? Doubt it. I think his victory was a fluke really.

I find it quite certain that Ultraman is not at all the strongest Ultran, but if he had a second fight against Zetton, I believe he'd be ready for Zetton's abilities.

Back on topic, I'm pleased with the return of the Capsule Monsters, first used by Ultraseven. I always preferred Windam over Mikulas, though..

I like Windam better as well. It's great to see that the next live action series from TPC is going to be Ultraseven X.

The capsule monsters were sweet. Another reason I love Ultraseven above all other Ultras. Think about it; this dude carries his own monsters to help him in combat situations! How sweet is that?
