I hesitated for a few days, but after reading mostly positive reviews I decided to pick up the multiplayer-only battle game for the PS3, "Warhawk". It's basically a war game played across expansive maps where up to 32 players can wage war upon one another on foot, in jeeps, turrets, tanks, and planes(warhawks). There are a variety of weapons and game modes including capture the flag, zones, deathmatch, king of the hill, etc. The game is downloadable from the PSN store for 39.99 or at retail for 59.99. The retail boxed copy comes with a nifty bluetooth headset so you can communicate with your teammates. I was pleased with this game and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys multi-player games. For people that arent so big on online play, you should just pass on this one, considering there is no single player campaign. Anyone interested can go to Warhawk.com for more info. If you do play this, let me know and I will look for you online. |

I'm going to post this review for Warhawk, the video game, for anyone who may be interested: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/warhawk...ss&subj=6177868 I'd comment more but I'm not a video gamer anymore. I might try and buy a video game platform of some kind by next spring. Maybe.

I would expect nothing less from a U.S. Army veteran. The issue with me and video gaming, Josh, is time, or lack thereof, at least for most of each year. What with trying to promote and "drive" this site along(until it gains a better foothold among the message board community on the web), regular weekly chores like laundry and grocery shopping, checking the mail for my elderly landlord every day, and my full time and periodic side work(on weekends), I just wouldn't have the time, I think, to sit down and enjoy any video games on my television set. Hell, I've got a very cood cable programming package with over 190 channels(and about a dozen movie channels), including On Demand service, which I rarely use.
