I've been a Godzilla fan as far back as I can Remember and I was happy to see him honored like that. People standing up and clapping. I remember going to see Godzilla 2000 in the theater and people cheering Godzilla on and cheering at the end. Totally didn't expect that at a Godzilla movie. |

I watched Godzilla 2000(1999) in a theater twice while on a week's vacation(from work) back in the summer of 2000. The theater, while not packed, had a fairly large number of people both times I watched G2K, and the overall audience reaction was positive. |

I knew Godzilla won an MTV Lifetime Achievement Award but I've never seen this video before. Nice bonus that the award was presented by Captain Picard, himself. ;) Onto the Godzilla 2000 subject. I too saw G2K in theaters and had a great experience. Probably the best movie-going experience I've ever witnessed. The crowd was just into the movie and applauding during the battle with Orgah. It was a real good time. Too bad more Godzilla movies weren't released theatrically . |

That's what I say. Could you imagine what GMK of Godzilla vs Biollante would have done for the fans in a theater? It would have been better that Star Wars for me, and I love Star Wars. |

I think it was ok, but honestly I wish Shogo Tomiyama was subtitled and it was taken alittle bit more seriously... Atleast he got an award state-side.. |

yah, thats true, and his dubbing was so silly, gojira steps on him, and people laugh, i meen it was hilarious, but it's one of the few american godzilla awards, and it should have been more serious. |
