An "Ultraman: The Complete Series" DVD set will be released by Mill Creek Entertainment on 9/29/09 and for sale at Amazon.com for $10.99 plus shipping. The discs are "all region". The set will include all thirty nine(39) episodes of the original "Ultraman" TV series, which originally aired on Japanese television during 1966-1967.

Source, which includes DVD cover art and specs: http://www.amazon.com/Ultraman-Complete-Akiji-Kobayashi/dp/B002DQSKLU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1248481750&sr=8-1
Whoa, I don't know how I missed this. Just finished pre-ordering it. Guess I can trade in the Ultraman DVD's released by BCI.

I have never talked about Ultraman on this forum, but thats because I don't anything about it.But I was at Shopko today and they had the Ultraman complete series DVD, for about 10$. I thought the Packaging was terrible though. Anyway I have seen about five Episodes right now, and I am hooked. A very good show. I hope to eventually collect More things like figures and more DVDs.

The review was great, and I am hyped to see it!
When it is ported to DVD, will there be one for the USA?

That's a good question. Obviously this film will get a Region 2 DVD release in Japan. As to a Region 1 North American DVD release, well, one can hope. Perhaps Mediablasters will buy the North American DVD rights to this tokusatsu movie.
