Use lower case letters pal. Thanks. ;)

If you're referring to your cable signal then I'm not sure how to reply . If you're referring to watching DVDs then a Blu-Ray DVD player, used along with your HD TV, would show a considerable difference in both audio and picture clarity.

There has to be a difference, at least technically speaking. A CRT(analog) television can produce a maximum of 480px in picture clarity. HD televisions produce either 720px(like mine) or 1080px. The more pixels(px) the clearer the picture. ;)

Does your parents have *HD programming* on either their cable or satellite systems? If they don't then no, you will not notice any difference. If they do, the difference is definitely noticeable.

Besides an HD capable television and HD ready cable box, you also need to be sure the tv is hooked up using either compnent cables or an HDMI cable. Using the old RCA cables won't cut it as an HD signal cant migrate from the cable box to the tv with the older technology.

If you own a CRT(cathode ray tube) analog television(480px) and plan on using it past February of 2009 then you should definitely click this link: http://my.att.net/s/editorial.dll?bfromind...+science+tglink

This is a good article for those who will opt to invest in a converter box for their analog TV, which will convert the digital cable providers signal(s) to an analog TV.

Just picked up a 40 Inch Samsung LCD HDTV (Sorry pack, I know how you feel about Samsung but I couldn't pass this up). I won't bother listing the specs because here is a link to it: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1202649424224

I'm down in Delaware for the weekend (got the tv with no sales tax...gotta love Delaware for that) so I won't be able to test it out until Sunday night. So full review pending...
