IMO, Ultraman WINS, since his specium ray can blow stuff apart in 1 shot. If he used that on Superman, I bet it'd be devastating as kryptonite. Although technically I don't want them fighting, rather I want them saving the world together. |

I think a giant sized Supes would win...but what the heck do I know? ![]() Consider, Smythe, that Superman managed to bring down Doomsday, when no one else could. To me a kaiju sized Superman would whip Ultraman's behind. |

To be fair, none of these "versus Superman" are ever balanced. Unless you have above god strength, magic, a red star or Kryptonite; you aren't going to hold your own versus a Kryptonian. Superman has moved planets, flown through the sun, moved trans-light speed and is considered the strongest of DC comics superheroes (aside from Doomsday and Despero) which is saying a lot. No offense towards Ultraman, but Superman probably could win normal sized. It would be much like a bullet through tin. Unless Ultraman can synthesize red solar radiation to weaken Superman with his spectrum ray, I don't think Utraman would be able to win. Otherwise the spectrum ray would do nothing other than be a concussive force pushing Supes back, another villain has a weapon like that in DC; Darkseid. He has a beam called the Omega Beam that shoots from his eyes and kills all on contact. The Omega effect pretty much erases you from reality and can bend, curve and go through matter. Superman can withstand it and survive. |

I've always believed Supes could whip just about anybody's behind. The exceptions: Doomsday(DC) and The Hulk(Marvel). I think there are probably a handful of villains that could fight Superman hard but none of them would win in the end. |

^^ In my opinion, Supes could destroy the Hulk in two seconds flat. |

I respect your opinion but I gotta believe it would take Superman a little longer than that.

Though I haven't read any of the comics where they fought, I'm inclined to believe Shazam could give Supes a run for his money. I'm interestd to see, with the new Mortal Kombat vs. DC game that is coming out, how the MK combatants plan to exploit a weakness in Superman. Game creator Ed Boon said he understood he would need to tone down some of the DC characters to make the game balanced, and he mentioned some sort of "magic" that could be effective against Superman. |

Unless he's fighting Doomsday or Despero my money is still on Superman to jack the hell up anybody who takes him on.

Thinking of Marvel, the only person that comes to mind that might give Supes a decent fight would be Thor, maybe. But even then I'm thinking he would still be beaten pretty badly. As far as Doomsday goes, he was a challenge for Superman the first time but later Supes kicked his butt pretty easily. |

My money is on Superman. Everytime. Once Ultraman's color timer starts flashing all Superman would have to do is hold him down for 2 minutes. After that, it's all over. Shouldn't be hard since Superman's proportionate strength VASTLY outclasses Ultraman's. |

Who needs Toho Kingdom anyway? I'm a member at Monsterland Forums! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it! I find the term "Zombie" to be offensive. I prefer to be called Vitality Impaired. Jerry's Frags: 17 | |
