I have always been a great fan of John Wayne. Two of my favorites starring this iconic actor:

The Green Berets(1968)

In Harm's Way(1965)

The trailer for 1968's The Green Berets: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=74...ON4umrQLtiZTmDg

I have seen "The Green beret" but not "In harms way" although I know my dad has it as he has every John Wayne film on either VHS or DVD.

I also like "Flying Tigers (1942)" and "The Longest Day (1962)" althoguh that had some great other actors in it such as Richard Burton, Sean Connery, Henry Fonda, Robert Michum, Kenneth Moore and I could go on but I would be here all day a classic film but not really a totla Wayne film.

As for western well the I Loved "The sons of Katie elder" and "Chisum" the only one I am a bit reluctant about is the "Shootist" mainly it was because it was his last film and he looked so ill.

Anyway could talk all day about his films but won't lol

I'm a fan of the longest day as well Jae, I also can say I love the Searchers and Big Jake even though it can be a bit on the campy side. I agree about the shootist, it's a good film but he does look worn out. He plays the role of the sick man too well, and it's saddening, even now, so many years later, to watch it and realize he died shortly thereafter.

I know I've seen some John Wayne films, though I have to admit that I don't think I was old enough to remember any of the names of them.
