Most fan made trailers of movies are not especially good. This one, made for the ANOES remake, is IMO an exception and is surprisingly decent. To watch it click the link: http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/30833/cool-elm-street-remake-fan-trailer

That's pretty darn good. I like that he's on fire and his blades are really hot.

Funny thing. Just today I was helping my little brother do a fake commercial for a school assignment, and there's a part where I play Freddy Krueger in it. I guess I have a bit of a dream of getting cast as Freddy Krueger myself.

The ANOES remake film may actually be a prequel to the 1984 film, depicting Fred Krueger before he was torched. Read more: http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_6630.html

Here's that video I mentioned above.

Good video, I found it funny, tell your brother that someone who makes comedy videos liked it. topper very funny

Also I liked how you handled Freddy, you are good at the evil laughter. However I think it would have been better if your face was covered/hidden in darkness, since I could tell you didnt have any burn makeup on and that would have made you more creepy IMO. winky

(Side Note: Nice Freddy glove, was it brought from a shop or is it a homemade one?. heyo big grin )

Thanks for the compliments. And good point. Wish I'd had some sort of Freddy mask, though. Would have made the video so much better.

EDIT: I can't take compliment for all the laughter, though. Some if it is mine. And some of it is Robert Englund's.

I tried not to show it much, because it's just some knives duct-taped to a glove. But it works for the brief shots it was in.

I'll take that as a compliment. winky

If you were kept in the dark and had a Freddy mask on, IMO you would have looked very creepy. winky

Yep. I've got three brothers, and the one in the video is the youngest. I think he's a Freshman now.

Hopefully, if I ever do another Freddy video, I'll have a much better costume by then. But still, good advice.

Thanks. big grin Good to see that another Freddy fan approves. I think it's also worth noting that your interest in the Freddy movies was a big reason I decided to check some of them out. I'm glad I did.

Latino Review has posted a short video that offers a "first look" at the ANOES remake script. It contains a few mild spoilers but is otherwise an interesting preview of what we can expect from the ANOES remake film, which is tentatively scheduled for a theatrical release in 2010. To see this video review of the remake script click the link: http://www.latinoreview.com/news/exclusive-a-look-at-platinum-dunes-nightmare-on-elm-street-6448

I hope Robert Englund can get into this film, even if only in a cameo appearance. winky

For a time the consensus has been that Robert Englund would not appear in the ANOES remake. Recent comments by those in charge of producing this remake suggest they are going to at least offer Englund a smaller part in the film. As to whether Robert Englund accepts this smaller role remains to be seen. winky

Actor Jackie Earle Haley has been tentatively cast to play "Freddy Krueger" in the ANOES remake film: http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_14799.html

Haley's a good actor and should be able to pull off the role well. winky

I do like that. Though Freddy has a developing double chin, it is still cool.
