I enjoy these films myself, they're real guilty pleasures. i would rank them: 1. Friday the 13th Part 4:The Final Chapter 2/ Friday the 13th Part 2 3/ Friday the 13th Part 7:The New Blood [I honestly think this may have been the best if they hadn't cut out all the gore!] 4/ Friday the 13th 5/ Friday the 13th Part 8:Jason Takes Manhattan 6/ Friday the 13th Part 5:A New Beginning 7/ Friday the 13th Part 6:Jason Lives 8/ Freddy Vs Jason 9/ Jason x 10/Friday the 13th Part 3 11/Jason Goes to Hell What did people think of the recent Jason film? I thought it was just about watchable but quite poor really,it didn't feel like a Friday film and during the kills [which were fairly uninventive anyway] you could hardly see what the hell was going on! |

I liked it okay. I didn't find it nearly as entertaining as the classic "Friday" films, especially the first three in this movie franchise. As a die hard slasher horror film fan I would recommend any fellow slasher horror movie fan check out the updated "Friday The 13th" film. That said I would also predict that the majority of those watching it would still like the older "Friday" films more.

As this video clip clearly illustrates Jason Voorhees is not one for conversation: |
