Why the series ended so abruptly I don't know. confused

My favorite series is Shaider, which starred Tsuburaya's son in the lead role, he unfortunately died of liver cancer when he was 37.

That's not why I asked: I was just curious. tongue-1

I still have so many episodes to watch of various live action superhero series that's it's not even funny. I just don't have the time very often to watch them. freak out

BOT- Spielban, Shaider, and Juspion were all adapted for Saban's VR Troopers, which IMO is the best Saban adaptation.

In the Speilban MV, look closely at 01:41. That's Ichiro Mizuki himself(singer of the theme song) ;) , playing Spielban's father Ben! B)

That mucsic video seems to have a little bit of everything: miniatures, explosions, characters in armored suits. It definitely looks better to me, IMO, than the Power Rangers.

I AGREE FULLY BUDDY! B) thumbs up thumbs up

BTW, I'm sending the stuff soon.

Yep, the Metal Heroes were a big advancement in Japanese television, they were some of the first to show full on air battles with daring camera work and risky pyrotchnics. That's what made the series work the most IMO.
