Slain, I took no offense. I'll freely admit that Episode I (heck, all the prequels) were flawed films. I know your comments weren't directed at me. It's cool.

"Naruto65", an ATARI Godzilla forums moderator, posted this excerpt from an interview with George Lucas, regarding the possibility of a fifth "Indiana Jones" films. In this article Lucas states that a fifth "Indy" film might happen if he, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford all approve of a good story for a potential fifth installment. The link to see the interview excerpt: http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10574096&postcount=1

Opinions, gentlemen? Should a fifth Indy film be made?

I never saw Indy IV. Just didn't really have enough interest, I guess.

Don't bother with it. I love the original trilogy, but the 4th one was awful. A 5th one could only further damage what might be my favorite film franchise ever.

I've heard and read a lot of bad things about the film. Still, I'm sure I'll at least rent it on DVD.

Ken Hulsey's latest blog at Robo Japan touches on recent comments made by George Lucas that the "Mutt Williams" character in Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull will not be the featured character in a fifth "Indiana Jones" film, should a fifth one be made. The link: http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2008/08/mutt-williams-will-not-be-main-star-of.html

Opinions, gentlemen? Agree or disagree with George Lucas here?

Well I'm glad as heck that they're not making Shia Lewhatever the star of this franchise. I still think George is nuts, but at least he's right that it wouldn't be Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford.

But Indy 4 was still terrible. No way do I want another Indy movie. I'm already pissed off enough about the 4th one. A 5th one would probably make my geek brain explode in anger.

Harrison Ford has gone on record as saying that he'd be up to the task of reprising the role of "Indiana Jones" in a fifth "Indiana Jones" film...provided the script is good. Read more: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/access-hollywood-indiana-jones-5.html

With no disrespect to Mr. Ford but i believe, at 67, he's too old to keep playing this character in anything more than a cameo now in an "Indy" film.

Well, I would watch him as Indiana Jones right up until he dies. But Indy 4 was a massive disappointment for me. Like I always say, biggest disappointment of my entire life. The Indiana Jones trilogy is my favorite series of movies ever made. If Indy 5 is a disappointment for me, it won't be because of Ford. I will blame Lucas. He has an opportunity to make up for Indy 4, and if he fails, then I'm done forgiving that man.
