Click the link to see some production notes about Spiderman 3(2007), courtesy of Keith Aiken's SciFi Japan website: SciFi Japan.com: Spidey 3 production notes

Is a fourth Spiderman film already in the works? Spidey 4?

Click the thumbnail to see one of the three armors that will be worn by Tony Stark in the Iron Man movie to be released theatrically next year:

Also, here is a shot from the film of Robert Downey, Jr., who plays "Tony Stark" in this movie:

And don't forget that Liv Tyler has been cast as Betty Ross in THE INCREDIBLE HULK.

Which is good, I think. I'm always down with Jennifer Connelly( tongue-1 ) but Liv Tyler should do well also. Is it definite, Dan, that "The Abomination" is going to be the villain in this movie?

Late edit: I found this. It says actor Tim Roth is in negotiations to play "The Abomination" in the new "Hulk" film:
Roth to star in "The Incredible Hulk"?

I read the Roth news too. The Abomination will be sweet in the big screen. This movie promises to be infinitely superior to the Ang Lee HULK film.

I like the look of this "Joker" okay-Dan, any idea if there will be a secondary villain in the next "Batman" film? heyo

Spiderman 3(2007) has earned, to date, $747 million worldwide in box office receipts. I suppose it's possible this film could top $1 billion in total receipts... freak out: http://www.superherohype.com/news.php?id=5717

That's okay by me. Heath Ledger is a very good actor and I believe he'll portray The Joker really well. I'm looking forward to seeing how Batman's suit looks in The Dark Knight, regarding any improvements.

I have seen a few postings on the internet that state that actor Thomas Jane, who portrayed Frank Castle in the film The Punisher(2004), has dropped out of participating in the sequel. If this is true, then here's my reaction: thumbs down

In the two years I've been on the internet I have seen great debate over who would win should Godzilla and Superman battle it out. Those who have posted replies at various boards are split down the middle about 50-50 on this debate. I came across this, a YouTube fan made trailer that puts both Superman and Godzilla(Millenium series) in a "movie" called SvG: Superman Vs Godzilla. The trailer is obviously fake, and not very good, but it does get me wondering what a movie might be like with these two screen icons, one a giant monster and the other a legendary superhero, in it together. The fan made trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I2PjYPnQPY

lol

Here's some fairly recent pics of the Joker from THE DARK KNIGHT:

Obviously the Joker is obscured in this pic but from what I can see he looks pretty sick. I like it!

This is a pic of the Joker wearing a mask. I'm not sure if he is in the foreground or if he's the blurry figure in the background. Either way, I believe this is before he actually becomes the Joker:

They need to simply cancel their plans for a Punisher sequel. Marvel really should slow down with their superhero flicks. They're over-saturating the market and people are gonna start getting sick of them.

Characters like GHOST RIDER, THE PUNISHER, and ANT MAN really don't deserve the cinematic treatment. I'd much rather see them in guest-star roles in an AVENGERS movie or in a SPIDER-MAN sequel.

A good example is the Silver Surfer. I wouldn't really care to see him in a film of his own but I'm very excited to see him in a guest-star capacity in the new FANTASTIC FOUR film.

Speaking of which I have read reports that Galactus is going to be nothing more than a large, purple-colored gas cloud-while some people at various boards have advocated this rendering of "G" I was hoping for something more along the lines of the comics-a massive, towering, armored and helmeted humanoid. Your takes on Galactus as purple vapor, Dan? heyo

I do agree with your assertion that there may very well be a glut of superhero films if Marvel doesn't scale back.

Galactus as a tall, armored humanoid eating planets is a bit far-fetched. If he is a large cloud I'm cool with it. Certain things that work in comic books don't translate well to film. A humanoid Galactus is one of those things.

I can accept your statement regarding Galactus as a purple cloud...provided the rest of the "FF 2" film is good. From the trailers I've seen I'll probably like it, but it won't be anything that blows me away. I was hoping to see The Thing(Ben Grimm) with a more pronounced brow(like in the comics) but he looks the same in the trailers as he did in the original film. thumbs down

Spiderman 3(2007) is now at $844 million in worldwide box office revenues. Looks like this film might eclipse a billion dollars in receipts. freak out
