SPIDER-MAN 3 was a very disappointing film. It was mediocre at best. FF2 looks much better than S3 in my view. |

Punisher 2 will be a flop...guaranteed. The first one barely made enough money and now they want to do a sequel without its star. The script must've been pretty bad if Jane backed out. By the way, Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer is looking better and better with each commercial I see. |

Well, I just thought I'd ask. I have watched the FF2 trailers-they look good, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the film, but I still would have preferred to see another "villain" featured in this movie before Galactus. My own preference: the Skrulls and their "Super Skrull"(that has each of the FF member's powers), or perhaps The Mole People. There are some FF villains that I'm not sure would do well on the big screen: Diablo, Blastarr, Gray Gargoyle, and Mephisto. Think the Skrulls might appear in an FF movie, Dan?

Among the many movies I am getting a little fired up to see on the big screen is Speed Racer, set for a May, 2008 theatrical release, and based on the 60's anime and consequent animated TV series. Updates: -Thomas Jane, who starred as Frank Castle/The Punisher in 2004's The Punisher, will not be reprising the role, but according to this article a replacement has been found for the sequel to the 2004 film: And the new Punisher is... -Hugh Jackman, who has played Wolverine in the three "X-Men" films, will reprise the role in Wolverine, a film set to begin production this November and with a theatrical release in 2008.
