If you believe this article there's an unconfirmed rumor that Justin Timberlake is being considered for the role of "Hal Jordan" in the Warner Brothers film Green Lantern, tentatively scheduled for theatrical release in June, 2011: http://www.superherohype.com/news/greenlanternnews.php?id=8494

Justin Timberwolf, er Timberlake did "screen test" for the role of Hal Jordan in the planned Green Lantern film: he didn't get the role. Somebody else did. Who? You might be surprised. Click the link to find out: http://www.superherohype.com/news/greenlanternnews.php?id=8499

Packmule= a little heyo and shokked at this casting choice.
Hmm. And a good choice I think. R.R. should do well in the role as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

Here's a brief update on the remake of 1968's Barbarella: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=57807

Jane Fonda portrayed this intergalactic female merc in the original. Who would I like to see in the remake? Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba or Scarlet Johannson would work for me. tongue-1

Click the link to see bootlegged footage of the Iron Man 2 footage, which was shown at the recent "Comic Con" in San Diego: http://www.superherohype.com/news/ironmannews.php?id=8600

This footage will likely be removed at some point from Superhero Hype. Based on the last scene in this footage it would appear that War Machine will be in the IM sequel. "War Machine" is, of course, a variant suit of armor worn by Tony Stark's friend, Air Force officer Jim Rhodes.

Todd McFarlane has begun writing the script for a new "Spawn" movie: http://www.superherohype.com/news.php?id=8631

I hope this one is better than 1997's Spawn, which starred Michael Jai White, Martin Sheen and Melinda Clarke. winky

In fairness to Sam Raimi, Spider-Man 3 suffered a lot because of Marvel Studio's interference. Producer Avi Arad required him to throw in too many elements (i.e. Venom) that he did not want or have enough time for. I think after stepping away for awhile, which Raimi has, he can re-evaluate the mistakes of the past and make much better Spider-Man films from here on.
