Yes. That answer may dismay, even offend you, but it's an honest answer and I always try to be honest with any member here, and regarding anything. Matthew(gojiramatthew) and myself are very likely the only two members of this message board who have both written and also actively read other member's written submissions. A handful of other members have posted fan fics...and then not returned to this site to post again. The vast majority of members of this site work either full or part time and many are students(college/high school) who also work part time. That could be one reason for why there aren't more reading these stories, both yours and anyone elses. I know KaijuFanatic reads them but she's still dealing with some medical issues right now and had been, until recently, away from the internet for a long time. I also know there are many members of this site who simply aren't enamored by reading fan fictions. There's nothing, IMO, wrong with that, it's just a preference, something we all have, regarding everything. If you want your fan fics to be front and center before a larger group of people you may have to post them at FanFiction.net or some other larger site that has a potentially larger audience for your work. We will one day, as a site, have an audience like what I mention...but we don't right now...and won't for a while. The "fan fic" and "video gaming" forums are two forums I have struggled to "get going" since this site was created nearly two and a half years ago. I don't video game so I can contribute little, if anything to that particular forum. As for fan fics, I'm working on a few things that might attract more creative writers to this message board. |

I've been very busy. I added new content to the table of...uh...contents, I threw on a new chapter, and, if you want to hear a spoiler, I will tell the name of the next planned story arc after the Goji-Angy war is over. Story 2: Monster of Destruction. |

Monsterland Forums has been converted from Invisionfree to Zetaboards format. A technical issue prevents me, presently, from customizing the forum skin and adding emoticons. This technical issue is being worked on by Zetaboards tech staff. Here's the original announcement about the changeover and some subsequent posts I made regarding the format change: http://s15.zetaboards.com/Monsterland_Forum/topic/16553/1/#new The changeover is an upgrade because the Zetaboards software has better security and affords members more features. I stink at graphics and, despite my best efforts at making a forum banner, I failed to make anything that even approached being halfway decent. A member with the username "kitten" made me a nice banner with KK and Heisei Godzilla head shots but, after we went to the "Reclutex" theme(the skin in use before the format change) her banner no longer matched, color-wise, the new skin. Another internet acquaintance made me a banner, the one you mention, with KK and V-Rex. I liked it as did other members here who posted comments about it. With the generally positive reaction to it it was an easy decision for me to keep it, that decision also made easier by taking into account two other realities: 1. I still stink at graphics. I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in my computer but generally do not have a lot of free time to practice making images with it. 2. my requests for forum banners, at various support/services boards that advertise graphics services, have gotten me nowhere. Examples: at Xplicit Forums, I was told the images I provided weren't good enough to work with. I asked the graphics staff there to try anyway. After several weeks and no action, I came to the conclusion no one was going to try. Then the request I posted was placed in the "filled" section of the graphics forum of this site. Go figure. I also put in a a request at Invisionfree Skin Zone early last year: it was completely ignored. No one ever responded to it. I put in a forum banner request at another site earlier this year. The staffer who was going to try and do it whined he was having great difficulty at it. Eventually, and after several weeks, I gave up. It was never done. There are a lot of support/services boards that advertise graphics services but few, if any, IMO, that can deliver on what they advertise. Edited by packmule, Jun 14 2008, 08:41 AM.

I noticed that. The good doctor is much more..."militaristic" about his invention(for lack of better word) than in the actual movie. I kind of like this more aggressive version of Serizawa. So far so good!
