I had a debate at school about this and well, who do you think will kick the other's ass?

I've seen these two gents matched up against each other in countless fantasy match topics. A couple of years ago there was quite a debate regarding these two at the Monster Zero forums. Like in that topic I'll post my opinion here. Obviously both are highly skilled martial artists, extremely fast and effective at generating tremendous force with their punches and kicks. Having seen both in action, and in many films, I give a slight edge to Bruce Lee.

Were these two to fight ten times Jet Li would win his share of the battles...but Bruce Lee would win the majority of them.

My tiebreaker: watching Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon: in this film Bruce Lee put on an awesome display of fighting skills, the like of which I've rarely seen.

No doubt it would be a hard fought battle and a close fight. winky

I'd say inside and outside movies, there is no doubt...that...Bruce Lee is not one to be messed with!

Although I would be inclined to go with Bruce, it's really tough to say. Both men have accomplished much in their careers and have proven their martial arts prowess through not only film, but in real life tournaments. The one thing about Jet is that since he has lived a lot longer than Bruce ever did, I don't think people have given him the same kind of "legendary" status they have with Bruce who lived fast and died young.

Here's an example of Bruce Lee's speed, and the power he generated from his kicks:

Well Bruce Lee was all that back then. I'm part of the new generation so I like Jet Li more But I have to admit, if they ever go head, Lee would win hands down ;)
