Here's the latest update on the reboot of the John Carpenter directed The Thing(1982): http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/17011 From the posted article, a reader comments:
 Most of the other comments regarding this article were negative. I share in their disdain. Thus far a "remake" which simply retells the 1982 film from the vantage point of the Norwegian science team seems pretty lame to me. |

I agree. We already have the two definitive version of this film. A movie from the Norwegian's perspective really doesn't interest me at all. |
