Oooo, your second table sounds promissing! I wonder when you are going to take a pic... My GAMERA 1999 VHS came in the mail today. What it is, in the simplest terms, a 2 hour making of Gamera 3. Kind of like a Gamera 3 version of Peter Jackson's Diaries on the making of the 2005 King Kong... Plus, a good friend is sending two DVDs free of charge to me. I am expecting these soon. This is some thread drift here but because it's about a kaiju toy I thought I'd post it. Keith Aiken, in a post at the ATARI Godzilla forums about the 1961 film Gorgo, posted a link showing images of the M1 Club Daikaiju Gorgo adult and baby creatures. To see them click the link: http://omni-monster.blogspot.com/2007/06/m1-club-daikaiju-gorgo-m1.html Those figures look fantastic! ![]() Evan, your thoughts on these "Gorgo" figures? I don't know about you but I would be absolutely thrilled to have them in my toy collection.

I am actualy stomped on this. I am not a big fan of M1, Biliken, and Marusan are not my fave figure makers due to their abstract versions of kaiju, but I think they would make great additions Lee. And I got something in the mail today, thoughI do not know why I waited till 3:25am in the morning to say so. So I have some friends and they have sent me gifts for my B-Day. Among one is a bootleger (name will be given if you PM me), and the two DVDs he gave me (a $22 dollar deal free) are awesome. Not going to say alot, but the DVDs had some stuff I had personaly bootleged already, but only by 15%. The rest was new. Want proof? His DVDs have the double feature trailer for WOTG and Monster Zero and the TV spot for "Godzilla vs. Bionic Monster". Plus, his other products seem to be good. He is able to put 2 discs worth of stuff onto one disc without risk of compression. Really, the guy is awesome. Rohem21 on youtube likes him and I like him and his products too. |

Better late than never. ![]() I wasn't aware you'd had a birthday. If I had known I would have sent you b'day greetings and posted in the "birthday" topic thread. As it is, I hope you had a nice birthday. How old are you now? Sixteen? ![]() If you tell me something I'm going to believe you. I can't speak for others around here but your word would suffice, at least for me. That DVD-R you referred to, would this guy be willing to send me a copy? I could compensate him for his trouble, within reason. |

Yes, the price for one DVD is only $13. Flat rate shipping, with shipping at $5.99 and each DVD at $8.99 unless you buy a box set like thing. That is, by compensate you mean paying him, which is of course. Though I will say that if anyone else I give the name to tries to ask him to just "give it to you", go ahead and ask. Though I do not want my name going up there with people saying things like, "Well, you gave G2KMaster a free copy of so-and-so DVD, why not me?" No, if that is the fact, I am not going to give out the name. |

Well guys. My collection is pretty small compared to what you have. The only Godzilla movie I am missing is Monster Zero. I also can't find my Mothra (VHS). Otherwise my collection is a mixed smattering of DVDs & VHS (Plus a couple beta). I think the only other thing I have that might be considered a collectable is a maroon-antique colored shot of Godzilla on a Post card from KKvG I have VHS of most of the G-Films that I have on DVD (Cept GvtT/M). My want list includes. preferably all with a Japanese lang and Eng Subtitle capacity. Varan (don't have at all) War of the Gargantuas (don't have at all) Rodan (I have it on VHS & DVD. Just not in Japanese) I think I can still order this as a dual set with WotG. Which I might just do this week. Godzilla vs Monster Zero (don't have at all) I may also buy this one this week. Destroy All Monsters (I have the VHS version) This one I am definitely getting. Who is it best to buy it from? Godzilla Raids Again (I have the VHS version). I so badly want to see this in Japanese. It has to be superior. Godzilla's Revenge (both VHS & DVD. Just not in Japanese)... Well of course. Everyone who knows me... knows this is probably one of my favorite Godzilla films. So I will probably purchase several more copies of it. Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster (I have the VHS version) Matango: Attack of the Mushroom People (don't have at all - but it just mystifies me) Yog (I liked the reviews I have read about the story. Plus it has some fun looking Kaiju in it). Atragon (I used to have it on VHS... but it gotten eaten by a VCR... *grumble*) Latitude Zero (this is not pressing... I just want it) Mysterians (I just want it) King Kong v Godzilla (though I am rather loath to spend any more money on it - I should have bought it the day I picked up KKE... as It was only 3 dollars more for KKvG. I just didn't know they were selling them in a dual pack. *Grumble*) Godzilla vs Megalon (The beginning of my VHS is kinda messed up. but it is pretty clear). Both Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and Terror of Mechagodzilla (I have several of each of these on VHS. All are in great shape. I just desparately want to see them in Japanese translated with Eng Subs... BADLY!! LOL) Son of Godzilla (again I have several of these on VHS) Godzilla vs the Sea Monster (see above) Godzilla vs Gigan (as above - Though like KKvG. It is not pressing) That is all I can think of from the SHOWAera (the one I prefer) I also have a bunch of the Heisei/Mel stuff. Most on VHS. I have all the Kongs. (KK33-KK76-KKLives-KK05). I wouldn't mind getting Son of Kong. I have the Ultra Man Special 30th Anniversary Collection which is copyrighted 1996 from Expressions in Animation, Inc. It has an interview on the end but I forget who with. I have only watched it like 3 times and only the end once. It is fun. Just not the SHOWAera stuff I love. I also have a lot of Zero Fighter downloaded (mainly the Godzilla, Ghidorah and Gigan stuff) Keep meaning to slap it on a disc. Eventually I will So that is the state of my poor collection. LOL G7 |

As an official release? I'd recommend getting the Region 1/NTSC format ADV Films version that includes an audio CD of various Godzilla movie theme music. There are no extras of any kind on the DVD: the movie is presented in its original 2:35.1 widescreen aspect ratio, mono audio and with the international English dubbed language track. "Madman Entertainment" offers a Region 4/PAL format of DAM, with a few extras(a trailer), 5.1 audio remix and w/English subtitles option. You'd obviously need a code free or multi-region DVD player to play this disc. I can also provide you info, by PM, on a DVD-R vendor who sells DAM as a Region 2 copy, in Japanese language w/English subtitles, 5.1 audio remix, extra(trailers) and including a second bonus disc of the AIP version(in 16x9 format and NOT 2:35.1 widescreen). The cost: about $25 including shipping. The 2004 R1 ADV films two disc DVD re-release of DAM at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Destroy-All-Monsters-Anniversary-Special/dp/B0001US5TC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1246999833&sr=1-3 The 2000 R1 ADV films single disc DVD release of DAM at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Destroy-All-Monsters-Akira-Kubo/dp/B00003IXDZ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1246999965&sr=1-1 The R4/PAL "Madman Entertainment" DVD release of DAM: http://www.madman.com.au/actions/catalogue.do?releaseId=6328&method=view |

The only two items I'm waiting on now are two VHS tapes. One is a sci-fi movie and the other is Rodan(1956), the 1989 "Video Treasures" release. |

Son Of Godzilla(1967), the 1997 Starz/Anchor Bay VHS release 2. Godzilla Vs Monster Zero(1965), the 1989 Paramount Home Video release I also ordered The Green Slime(1968), the 1998 MGM/UA Home Video of the Toei sci-fi film (full frame) |
