That's a bummer. It always bothers me when stuff like this isn't readily available. It's as if they're daring us to go bootleg.

It bothers me a lot also that I cannot afford these Region 2 "Ultra" DVD series.

When I look at BCI's "Ultraman" R1 DVD release, each volume priced at about $30-$35 each(or less) at various retailers, then compare that to the "Ultraseven" Region 2 DVD release, where each volume is about twice that much, it leaves me wondering why the price differential is so high. huh?

An "Ultraman: The Complete Series" DVD set will be released by Mill Creek Entertainment on 9/29/09 and for sale at Amazon.com for $10.99 plus shipping. The discs are "all region". The set will include all thirty nine(39) episodes of the original "Ultraman" TV series, which originally aired on Japanese television during 1966-1967.

There are also R2 re-editions of Ultra-Q, Ultraman, and Ultraseven which have only been released recently. Though still a bit pricey when you consider there's a good number of volumes, they're a lot cheaper than the first editions. The previous editions were priced at around $42 (depending on the DVD), but these new ones cost only $22 - get them from this website and you also get free delivery: EXAMPLE: Ultraseven

I've just ordered the first 3 volumes of Ultra-Q and Ultraseven, but I imagine the whole Ultra series catalogue will be released promptly.

Pretty cool, don't you think? Mr. Green

It is living void, because all forms come out of it and whoever realizes the void is filled with life and power and the love of all things' - Bruce Lee
