First, when it actually comes with my fanfic, I like to just give out a lengthy synopsis before I actually write it. So, that is why it would seem short. ====================================================== First, the time line for this film is of only Gojira, The Return of Godzilla, and Godzilla vs. Biollante. Plot: The year is 1993. On a rainy day, we are sad to present that at 93, Dr. Yamane has died. Ogata and Emiko are a happily married couple, but with a saddness that Yamane has died. For Yamane's actions for Japan's protection against Godzilla in 1954, Goro Maki of Todo Press (character from 1985), along with his girlfriend Naoko (also a character from 1985) are writing a compilation book chronicling Godzilla's 1954, 1984, and 1989 raids on Japan. Professor Hayashida has made a memorial building for the Yamane. Meanwhile, Godzilla is hibernating in the middle north pacific and is weak due to the A.N.E.B. used on him in 1989. Free of thread, a greater one is coming: the American Government has found out about Bio-Major, the organization that held Japan hostage and tried to steal the A.N.E.B. back in 1989. While everyone involved is put into prison, the US Government faces heat when the Saudi Arabian government gets information that their agent to steal the G-Cells and kill Professor Shirigami was killed, they assume it was American agents that killed the Saudi Arabian agent, and so they proclaim war on America. Goro, Ogata, Emiko, Hayashida, Ken, and Naoko, all who have been in Godzilla's path in the past, help to resolve the current war issue with one name being mentioned: Godzilla. Sadly, neither side belives Godzilla is alive since it has been 4 years since his attack. Japan sits helplessly as Saudi Arabia and America go to war, right above where Godzilla is hibernating. The war goes on, and because of the use of nuclear warfare in the ocean, nuclear energy reaches Godzilla. And with his body charged, Godzilla rises up and starts attacking all the ships. Saudi Arabia sails away, but with Godzilla destroying the ships. America engages Godzilla with little hope. While warding off the creature, only two aircraft carriers survived. With the "G" alerts used in Japan in 1989 being used as a global warning system, everybody is scared crapless of this new sighting of Godzilla. Godzilla attack Los Angeles, taking America by storm. This, of course, makes the whole city become battle ground while tanks and bombs are deployed. Nothing prevails. Godzilla, after completely leveling LA goes back into the ocean. The NATO alliance plans on doing one thing: teaming up with Japan to make the JAU: Japanese - American - Union. With help of the main Japanese cast the army, using the same system that tricked Godzilla into Mt. Mihara in 1984, loured him to an abandoned island in the south Pacific. With the american's help, they nuke Godzilla. The only thing that happens is Godzilla increases from 80 meters to 100 meters and the ability to nuclear pulse on a larger scale. Godzilla heads toward Tokyo. Saudi Arabia meanwhile tries to be smart and attacks Godzilla. Godzilla changes course and destroys the whole of Saudi Arabia's oil rigs and it's capitol. He heads on FOOT back to tokyo. No country engages him. The JAU set up HQ at Japan, with all army personel from G vs. Biollante present. And this time, 2 Super Xes are used (one is Super-X1 and the other is SX2). Meanwhile, Hayashida finishes the Yamane memorial, by setting up different text book archives till he finds something disturbing - Yamane has an extra copy of plans for a weapon so destructive, so horrifying, so abominable that it has been used one - on Godzilla. Godzilla attacks Tokyo and basically, all buildings taller than him are knocked down. Godzilla made a bee line to the center of the city and tested his nuclear pulse. The army attacks with the Super Xes, Maser Cannons, and a bazooka team of A.N.E.B. During the attack, the American President disappears, only for the Japanese Prime Minister to find him in the Prime Minister's Office, crying. The president explains that he does not know what to do, and wishes that the H-Bomb was never created, blaming America. But the Japanese Prime Minister points out that the Nazis were about to make a bomb themselves, so it was inevitable. Godzilla is here to remind us that with this great power, comes greater responsibility, something the Prime Minister taught the president before in 1984. Godzilla is destroying Tokyo at the seams, some of Asia and America has been destroyed, and we find out that plans for the oxygen destroyer are found. But will another oxygen destroyer be made? Will Godzilla be stoped? Could this story be turned into a film that will actually teach all political heads in all governments? What did Dr. Yamane do to get a copy of the blueprints of the oxygen destroyer from Serizawa?... post your opinion on this story HERE! Edited by packmule, Sep 5 2008, 09:46 PM.

I like that it ties in with the Heisei timline, since that's my favorite Godzilla timeline. |

^I wrote the story mainly because of my love for Godzilla 1985, and that I would like to correct the screw up of Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah - Godzilla vs. Destroyer. The time travel thing was bad and the whole anti-hero thing, while not the same is essentially like the late 60's and 70's godzilla. And might I add that in this story, the Godzilla suit I want to be used is the 84 suit, which is the scariest. The GMK suit was to cool looking to be scary, even with the white pupils, and the fact that his toe claws are too curved and blunt looking at the tips and not sharp. Another thing I like is that this story idea is that this is an ending film, and brings characters from all three previous films in my chosen continuum together. Plus, we see four sides of this story, Political, Army, Reporter, and civilian. Plus, I think America and Japan coming together to get rid of Godzilla is great, along with ending Saudi Arabia's involvement in the story, since they screwed things up a lot in Biollante. And the whole scene with the American president, who cries when America is attacked for the first time since Pearl Harbor (the film is set in my birth year, before Katrina or 9-11) and the Japanese Minister helps him get through it, by inadvertently summing up what Godzilla stand for is great. Now, on a critical scale, how good is this story that I wrote? I am sad to say that my past stories have been crap, therefore I have not actually written a full kaiju narrative. I like it. I like G85 a lot, so I'm probably biased Right now it's a bit short, so it reads more like a summary, but I think it's good. I think it could be much better if it was longer and you fleshed out the characters, and helped the reader get to know them.. I'm working on a Godzilla story of my own too at the moment. Hopefully I can turn it into a script. I like that this story isn't exactly an ending, and it leaves it open. My story has a similar ending. Edited by crowmagnumman, Sep 5 2008, 08:05 PM.

If this was to be made by toho, I would hope this would be better than GMK, which is what I am watching right now. I just posted this story at kaijuphile forums. And thanks again for the kind words crow. This is the first story I have done with kaiju that has gotten good appraisal. |

Which I think is good. That said you need to work on your spelling, G2K. I know you have heard this from me before. Some of your misspellings I can tolerate because they are not among more commonly used words. There are some words that I believe you should be able to spell correctly. I am going to challenge you to work on your spelling, G2K, and often, if necessary. It's important. When your words are spelled generally correct members can understand what you're writing about a lot better.

^It is not my spelling that needs work, it is my keyboard. To put it simply, the keys are "dieing". Some words are of bad spelling, I will admit, but most are of a bad keyboard. With that said, is there any part of the story that needs work, fleshing out, ect? |

I see. Well, I have invested about $40 in my Logitech keyboard. I have seen very basic keyboards compatible with all Windows OS at Office Depot starting at about $25 and up. |

I think the best thing you can do is make it longer. Get into more detail with the characters and put the reader in their shoes. That takes a lot of work, though. But I think that if you really like your story you should flesh it out. I'm sort of in the same position right now. I've got a basic story idea, but fleshing it out into a whole script is going to be hard. |

^I have already started to make it longer. I am writing it in screenplay format, and right now I got the main description, shinto priest, and Hayashida's line's for the funeral scene down. Is there any plot holes or dull parts in the synopsis? |

So are you including the whole split-personality thing into this story? Because I'm starting to really like that idea. If you're not extremely attached to it, I'd like to include something similar in my story. It would be slightly different actually, but it still involves a sort of split-personality. |

That is actualy something I an still toying with. If you want to use the idea, I will quote the great John Carpenter when he was told for the first time that Halloween was being remade: "Make it your Own" You talked of the whole split personality concept giving Godzilla depth. Well, instead of giving goji depth for this story, I am giving the humans depth with two diffrent generations interacting for the first time. I do not count Godzilla vs. Destroyer because Emiko was seen more as a cameo and Mr. Chujo in Tokyo SOS was playing a character from Mothra, not godzilla. |

Thanks. I like that your story is staying very faithful to the Heisei storyline. At least part of it anyway. I wish they hadn't ended that one with Destroyer. Besides GMK and GxM, I'm not very happy with how the Millennium era has turned out. So I'm looking forward to reading your story. Oh yeah. The Japanese Prime Minister in your story. Is he the same guy from G85? Because he was one of the best characters in that movie. Edited by crowmagnumman, Sep 6 2008, 10:41 PM.
