...and to keep discipline during the viewings at an all time high

Are school officials expecting a student uprising, even a riot during the movie's screening?

...on second thought, only a movie like Godzilla Vs Megalon or Godzilla's Revenge could cause a riot among your classmates were they forced to view these films. tongue-1

I brought a Hyper Goji 54 to six classes. It was a riot.

Too true.

I would also like to mention a quote from my principle after seeing the Willian TsuTsui vid:

"I want you to spearhead this project."

Now I try to act smart when I talk, whether on the internet, or in real life.
But I'm confused! Is it a good thing or a bad thing he said?

Good thing. Once he accepted the operation, I asked if he would help me get the teachers ready and he said that. It is a good thing.

Yes, that is the video, not to mention THE ONLY VIDEO. I thought it would have been kind of audience.

Update:
Things are going like this: the 7th grade teachers are being stingy and the 8th grade teachers are loving it.

By "stingy" are you saying these teachers are resisting being compelled to watch Gojira(1954)? Or by "stingy" do you mean they have, collectively, blasted your efforts to get this film screened at school?

Well, they are resisting. As in they're only good exscuse to not showing the film is "a busy schedule". Sixth grade and eight grade is not having such problems and one activity the seventh grade does has been rumored to be taken away and I am wondering why not do Gojira which would be better educationaly?

Well it's hard to say whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I think it's pretty awesome that you convinced them to let you show Gojira in school. I'm impressed.

I'm just still trying to decide whether I think the movie ought to be played in school or not. Don't get me wrong. I think it's a great movie. But not every movie needs to be played in school. Whether it's educational enough or not is up to your school faculty.

Well, let's see. There are, I would imagine, many students who are not fans of Godzilla, have absolutely no interest in Godzilla and might resent being compelled to watch a Godzilla movie. That IMO would be a "bad thing".

Put yourself in the shoes of those students and/or teachers who have no interest in Godzilla films. winky
