Hopefully the quality isn't sacrificed too much in these Chinese players. Nice to see a chance for people on tighter budgets to go blu, but it will be for the worse if the players all break down withing 3 or 4 months. |

Whoa. Well, i'll be picking this up. The bigger question now is will the other Godzilla movies that CM released be far behind in terms of seeing a Blu Ray release? And if Sony will release any of their Godzilla titles to Blu Ray? |

I'm seriously thinking about buying a stand alone Blu Ray player, but I need one that will also play DVD-R's and Data DVD's/CD's like my PS3. Anyone have any suggestions? |

I can't recommend a specific Blu-Ray player, Russ but I can recommend two models to avoid if you're going to use this machine to play DVD-R's: the Samsung model BD-P1400 and Samsung BD-P1500. I have a BD-P1400 that will NOT play DVD-R's. A friend of mine has a BD-P1500 that will not play any of his DVD-R's or DVD-R's from his camcorder. Russ, you may want to check out the Blu-Ray.com website, even start a topic in the forums(after registering) about this.
