I see. I am obviously not the most informed person in regards to this kind of music. Thread drift: what is Megumi Odaka up to now? If you would like to start a thread about her that would be most welcome sir. :)

Well, I wish I knew what she's doing now.I just know what she had done a couple of years ago and about what she did before Godzilla vs. Biollante.

It's not that recent.It's from G-Fest 2000.
If you're interested, here are some more recent pictures from 25th of April 2001:
http://www.geocities.co.jp/MusicStar-Drum/5154/yubin.html

I'm not sure if there are more recent pics out there.I searched with google but found no others.

Recently I found some info about what she was doing in 2004.But the online-translators I used just gave me crappy translation, it was something about a "pause", about "stageplays" and "sickness".I better let it translate by someone who is good in Japanese.

I was wondering who that guy was. When you say "hardcore", are you referring to rock, punk, or something in between? hyper

It's Rock, here take a look at some videos, probably not to your taste but I thought I'd show you: http://www.youtube.com/results?search=lord...e=search_videos

Lately I have been listening to a lot of Deep Purple, from the Stormbringer and Burn CDs. Also, quite a bit of Styx, particularly their early music, on The Wooden Nickel Recordings CD, and from The Grand Illusion and Pieces Of Eight CDs. I have linked a Styx song, Blue Collar Man(1978), on my MySpace page. The URL: www.myspace.com/jackass84

I like Deep Purple and Styx, so good choices! :)

I have been listening to the newest CD from Rob Zombie, the name of the CD escapes me at the moment, but it has some solid tunes on the disc. Also, picked up a rather strange CD the other day, it's called, The Piano Tribute to Iron Maiden The track list includes:

-Two Minutes to Midnight
-Wasted Years
-Can I Play With Madness
-Trooper
-Brave New World
-Run to the Hills
-Caught Somewhere In Time
-Aces High
-Hallowed Be Thy Name
-Flight of Icarus
-Number of the Beast
-Eddie's Lament

Not a bad effort, really. My Mom is a big fan of piano tunes, but not metal tunes, but I was thinking of having her check this CD out and if she likes it, have her listen to the CDs of the band and tell her, that's what she was REALLY enjoying!

A while ago (while writing a script) I was listening to just about all the songs on my computer (shuffled), it's really a mixture between The Beatles, LORDI, Queen, Anime songs, Movie Themes, and a lot more. I like to play everything on shuffle because there's a lot more variety of songs.
