AMC's Monsterfest, long a programming staple at AMC, American Movie Classics, is no more. It's now called "Fearfest". As in previous years it features a nearly continuous broadcast of horror movies. In years past we got ten days(or more) of these horror films. Now, it runs from 10/24 to 10/31. I have looked over the list of films: to be sure there are some great old Universal classics and at least one very good Hammer horror film. Besides these I cannot say I'm impressed. I'll probably watch TCM on Halloween night(10/31).
