If Couture can avoid Lesnar's fists, he can beat him on the ground. Lesnar pounded Frank Mir but Mir managed to get him to submit to his ground game, I see Couture's strategy being similar. |

I can't see Randy Couture being able to successfully bash it out with Brock Lesnar and, like you, believe Couture's only chance to win would come through getting Lesnar down on the mat. |

This fight is either going to solidify Couture's status as an all-time great or boost Lesnar up to the ranks where he is actually going to start receiving some respect from the hardcore MMA people. I like Randy but I'd almost rather see Lesnar win, because I'd like to see more of Lesnar in the future. Beating Randy would get him alot more exposure. |

Dana White was pretty embarassed by the fight himself and mentioned Anderson Silva needing to take on opponents that will make him work harder...Chuck Liddell and Georges St. Pierre were mentioned. One thing is for sure, ticket and PPV buyers will think twice about purchasing the next card that Silva headlines unless they think it's going to be a real fight. |

It's on for this Saturday night. One of my buddies purchased UFC: 91 Couture Vs. Lesnar on PPV and I'll be going over there to watch the fight and drink a few beers. I'll let the board know how it all went down once it's over. |

I look forward to your commentary on the results of this fight. I'm inclined to think Lesnar will win but it's hard to bet against a man like Randy Couture, who redefines the word "badass".
