I hate life
Despite all the bad things that happen to good people in life that is not IMO reason enough to hate life and living. Remember this, Napster: a lot of people have died young, be it from cancer or something else, their lives taken way too soon. None of these people wanted their lives to end, but end they did.

You have a life and only one life: make the most of it pal. winky

Legendar UFOlogist and paranormal writer John A. Keel has died. I read his Mothman Prophecies and was very impressed. I've been meaning to read more of his books.

Long time Senator Edward M. Kennedy has died. He was 77. Kennedy, the brother of former U.S. attorney general Robert F. Kennedy and former U.S. president John F. Kennedy, passed away after succumbing to brain cancer.

Source: http://www.cbsatlanta.com/politics/20558369/detail.html

As a political conservative I didn't agree with Senator Kennedy's positions but this man spent his entire career tirelessly working for things that would benefit the working class and the poor. He was also a man who acted on his principles and stood by them. I have always had great respect for "Ted" Kennedy.

May he Rest In Peace.

Veteran actor Patrick Swayze has died. He was 57. Swayze passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family members after succumbing to the effects of pancreatic cancer, which he had been battling for two years.

For more on the life of this terrific actor click the link: http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=431218&gt1=28101

I have always admired the way Patrick Swayze handled himself after first being diagnosed with cancer, then later as he had to deal with the effects of chemotherapy and other side effects from his treatment. Swayze showed class and great courage in the face of an insidious disease that, tragically, takes away the lives of too many people at too young an age.

My favorite films starring Swayze will always be Next Of Kin(1989), in which he plays Chicago cop "Truman Gates", and Road House(1989), in which he plays head bouncer "James Dalton".

Patrick Swayze will be greatly missed.

I was deeply saddened when I heard about his passing. He was a great actor and I admired that he kept on acting even while battling the cancer. sadlyicon
