Originally meant to be any non-kaiju Japanese live action films, list all samurai/ninja/Japanese martial arts film you have seen.

Toho:
Rashomon-how did a samurai with a Korean sword ruin a good marriage? In five diffrent ways at the same time. AKA: people who are sitting under the Rashomon gate talk about all of a sad tale that no one knows the truth to...

Kiru-a traveling yakuza and farmer get mixed up in a clan feud

Azumi-a female assasin goes out to kill waring shoguns in this verry exaggerated lick. Ryuhei Kitamura directing.

Onmyoji-a story of Abe No Seimei battling another onmyoji for the protection of Edo(tokiyo) in feudal Japan

Onmyoji 2-Abe No Seimei is battling the Yamato gods to save Edo from revenge... Guest staring a kaiju cameo from Orochi the 8 headed Dragon

Yojimbo-a wondering samurai goes into a town which has many problems and fixes them through battles. Starring the legendary Toshiro Mifune. By Kurosawa...

Kwaidan-4 short films set in mysticism in feudal Japan

Returner-a girl goes to the past to protect the future

Seven Samurai-only film to compete with Gojira has Japan's "national anthem of Japan's cinema"

Toei
Karate Forever- Sonny Chiba is a failed street fighter who, living with orphaned thieving children, takes down a crime boss.

Shogun's Samurai- Sonny Chiba plays his most famous role as Jubei as he fights a Tokugawa's clan in terms of heritage.

Samurai Reincarnation-Again as Jubei, Sonny has to defeat a resurrected Christian samurai, now turned Satanic.

Kadowoka
Legend of the 8 Samurai - Starring Sonny Chiba, the Tokugawa clan tried to fullfill their wishes to rule Japan through Yokai and Onmyodo. But only the 8 samurai could stop them

Heaven and Earth-shot in Canada, this is just two samurai clans fighting with some romantic subplot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Executioner-three assassins are hired to take down a cocaine agent. Comedy filled action adventure. Some nudity of Japanese, Caucasian, and Black women...

Daiei-
Zatoichi The Outlaw - regular Zatoichi film, just him killing a yakuza clan

Fight Zatoichi Fight- Can Zatoichi easily defeat 100 samurai set out by a yakuza clan?

Zatoichi's Revenge- read the title

Zatoichi and the Doomed Man - Zatoichi helps a man get freed from death sentrnce in jail

Zatoichi's Cane Sword - Upon finding out that his sword has a crack in it at the base, Zatoichi can only kill 5 more people before the blade breaks...

Zatoichi and the Chest of Gold- Zatoichi redeems a village of it's taxes upon getting
a chest of gold

Zatoichi Remake - Zatoichi helps a village out of the oppression of a Yakuza clan...

Ect.
Kunoichi, Lady Ninja-Jube is not portrayed by Chiba, but boobs galore in this samurai flic of entertainment . Strangely non-porno, but nudity nice but a non Sonny Chiba Jubei...

Kibikachi-a Yokai films about a werewolf residing in a town which is under attack by Yokai-hating Japanese government

Great Yokai War-a little boy leads the Yokai armies to defeat a man who turns Yokai into giant terminator like robots.

Versus-a prisoner tries to make it out of a forest alive, soon to realize that his destiny is to fight for the power of "the other side". Directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, this film shot him into international stardom and even got an extended version in 2003... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

High and Low-angry shoe makers kidnap their boss's son...

I honestly don't feel like taking the time to list all I've seen, but here are a few of the older "standout" martial arts films I enjoy:

Last hurrah for Chivalry
Yojimbo
Rashomon
Enter The Dragon
The Magic Serpent
Seven Samurai
Shaolin Vs. Tai Chi
5 Deadly Venoms

The Magic Serpent

I've seen this one as well: a 1966 Toei produced film. I used to own it on VHS(and in widescreen), until I gave it away to a friend's nephew. Entertaining film. thumbz up

No mention of RAN?
Or a single LWAC movie?
I can see that my services are sorely needed here.

I will be back with a "must see" listing

To say that I've seen a lot of samurai films, would be something of an understatement.

I'll just start with my namesake, for now

Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in the Land of Demons
Lone Wolf and Cub: White Heaven in Hell
Shogun Assassin

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lone_Wolf_and_Cub

I should point out that this is the series that first got me interested in bushido, thanks to my brother taking me to a samurai film festival, when I was but a Cub myself.

Let's see, what else do I have in my collection?
Gee,I've got a few by Akira Kurosawa.

Rashomon
The Seven Samurai
Throne of Blood
The Hidden Fortress
Yojimbo
Sanjuro
Kagemusha
Ran

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_Kurosawa

One of the true greats,Kurosawa's name shall never be forgotten by my heart.
His films show both the inspiration, and depravity,of the human condition.
Something that has been emulated, yet never surpassed.

^Do you listen to everything, that everyone tells you?

One can only measure enjoyment from the standard that they themselves set.

Most folks rip on me for finding pleasure in an old LWAC flick...I still enjoy them!
