thumbz up Ah yes. Hulu is great. Even though I get tv now, I still prefer watching most shows online when I can. Now I just wish hulu would upload House faster. They usually take a few days before they get around to uploading the latest episode.

Gruesome. JasonV I remember that episode. I do like, though, that the show doesn't flinch on the graphic portrayals.

I've been watching season episodes today on USA, many of which featured the new board chairman Vogler(played by Chi McBride) trying to impose his will on House. Vogler vs House = very funny

Yeah, I really hated that guy. Nasty nasty fellow. I don't know if you've gotten to David Morse's cop character yet, but he and Vogler are the two most vicious antagonists House has ever faced on that show.

I saw an episode today on USA in which Wilson made a deal with Tritter, presumably to keep both himself and House out of jail. House wouldn't take the deal and Cuddy cut off House's Vicodin and removed him from a case. Of course in the end Cuddy went to House because she needed him to help diagnose the patient. I missed part of this episode(while doing laundry) but at the end Wilson found House on the floor strung out on Oxycodone, a powerful steroid and painkiller med. Then House shows up in Tritter's office. After briefly ridiculing House Tritter says "Merry Christmas" and leaves, House just standing there.

I have seen an episode synopsis in which Cuddy ultimately makes some kind of deal with Tritter, who is IMO a vindictive asshole, in order to get House out of his predicament. I haven't seen this episode.

Oh yeah, Tritter was his name. Yeah, he's an asshole. I like the actor, but man is he good at playing an unlikable character.

I watched a few more episodes of "House" today, including two eps I hadn't seen before. In one of the episodes House faked having cancer in order to try and gain access, from another hospital, to some kind of hallucinogenic drug. very funny

And that's why House is such a popular character. He's an eccentric. Not at all like we would expect a medical doctor to be. I like that he's so into drugs because it makes the character even more like Sherlock Holmes, whom I'm sure House is based on. Holmes had many drug addictions.

I surely have been. Mr. Smiles I'm a dedicated tv fan. That one surprised me, but it does seem like they've been building it up. House himself(and his relationship with Wilson) is still the main reason I keep watching the show, but the secondary characters are usually pretty good. I liked all of the new additions from the start. So I'll be interested to see what happens with all of them.

I was also amused by Dr. Kutner's little side venture, in which he dispensed with medical advice on a website using House's name. Dr. Taub threatened to tell House about Kutner's little business unless he was cut in on some of the site's profits. Then one of the site's "patients" came to the hospital and faked dying. The scene where, after House calls both of these guys out for their shenanigans is hilarious, even more so after the dead patient gets up off the table. Turns out she was faking it, a ruse she was in on with House himself, who immediately demanded 50% of the site's profits since Kutner was using his name.

House is a maniac. Remember the episode where he deliberately electrocutes himself, to try and have a near death experience? very funny

Yep. noddy House is obsessed with finding the answers. It's always awesome to see how far House will go to solve something. And I'm continually amazed at how the show portrays House as a selfish and arrogant ass, but also manages to create such sympathy for the character by focusing on his subtle human qualities. He's such a great complex character. I thought he would become boring by now, but he's not. Even in the last episode he manages to surprise me and entertain me. And the side characters surprise me at times, too. Such great writing. I hope they keep it up.
