I saw it yesterday and it was a big let down.

Way too long, a lot of cussing and they added too much comedy. Should have left the comedy at the same level as the 1st movie.

I do not mind cussing at all but it just did not fit in this movie.

Megan Fox was worth it, but still upset since I was a huge fan of the first movie.
I won't say it was a big let down but it definitely was a step in the wrong direction. There was entirely way too much profanity used in this movie (Though when Ironhide called Demolisher a "punk ass decepticon" I got a kick out of that) and the comedy definitely felt forced a lot of time. I also thought the ending was rushed and incomplete. But I will say it was WAY too long! I mean this movie just felt LONG. But outside of that, I didn't have a complaints. Megan Fox got more time, she definitely helps out the film :D Out of 5 stars, I would say this is a 3.5.

Transformers - Revenge Of The Fallen(2009) has generated $591.5 million in revenue worldwide to date: http://www.superherohype.com/news/transformersnews.php?id=8480

I wonder if this film can hit the $700 million mark, in worldwide receipts. ?

I saw it on Sunday night...my first time in an IMAX theater, and while I wasn't expecting much (I didn't think the original was very good) this one just seem to drag on and was full of unnecessary scenes. I mostly agree with the previous opinions posted: Too long, too much forced comedy, unnecessary profanity, too many plot points brought in that weren't developed well enough, and finally, too many actors. The movie had way too many human characters with too many lines and screen time, and believe this is what made the movie way too long. The only plus is it seemed like they added a bit more footage of the Transformers themselves fighting, which was nice because the last film seemed lacking in that department.

Wow. I'll admit the special effects were good, but this movie is far from worthy of those kinds of sales. This one definitely draws a line between cash draw hype and true quality filmmaking. Admittedly, I'm probably a harsher judge of the Transformers films than I am others...most likely because the cartoon and toy lines of the 80's were so beloved to me and I feel like this film series has tarnished that legacy somewhat.

Nah I feel the same way Josh. I thought the movie had great special effects but the movie was poor. The person I went to the movies with (who isn't a Transformers' fan) thought it was "dumb" movie and was lost in all the explosions and chaos. I don't think it tarnished the legacy but it sure as hell didn't help it...
