both have teamed up and are nearly a tied match, gigan has claws and a chainsaw for a bellie, and megalon has a bigger arsenal and can fly, burrow and even survive underwater, i want to know your honest opinions on who would win.

Not sure how in hell I missed this thread...anyways, I'm going with Gigan: I like his chest buzz saw.

Yah Gigan wins in my opinion too. Megalon got his Butt handed to him by Jet Jaguar! While Gigan Held Him Ransom!

Gigan may have the advantage technically but surely as soon as he's in a bit of trouble he would turn coward and flee?

Showa (1973) Megalon has, to be sure, some serious weapons at his disposal: those exploding rocks that are fired from his mandibles, the beam he can fire from his horn and also of course being able to fly.

I would like seeing the Showa Megalon square off against the 2004(GFW) Gigan, the latter using a beam weapon in the 2004 film. Both monsters can fly and employ beam weapons. GFW Gigan would get the edge from me because of those buzz saw extensions for hands. winky

Yah true. I would also go for GFW Gigan. he seems more brutal.

I think the difference for Gigan would be the GFW version. The Showa Gigan would most likely either lose or run away. He had the tools but just wasn't able to take what he could dish out.
