This one is from the winner of 'Project Greenlight' and it's about giant insects attacking mankind. And so begins a hideous, nail-biting, comedic, all-action adventure to find a safe haven while constantly outwitting an infestation of monstrous proportions. As Cooper embarks on his journey, he befriends a ragtag group of survivors including Sara, a feisty attractive female. Although the situation is dire, Cooper can't help himself from trying to solve his dating problem while trying to save his life. Will they make it to safety before they are picked off one by one? That trailer was a blast, Avery!  Good to see Ray Wise in this film, kicking ass. Kind of has an "Eight Legged Freaks" feel to it. Thanks for the info and links Avery.

Ahh! Just watched it and it was well worth the wait!! Very funny and lots of great giant bug action! Like "Shaun Of The Dead" but with giant insects!! Highly recommended and definitely one of the best big bugs flicks ever!!

I watched this film on SyFy: I'd rate it a "B-". The CGI was better than I expected. I would have rated it higher but I wanted to see a more serious tone in this movie. I think a lot of horror movie fans will like it. |

My aunt actually called me last night to tell me about an "interesting" movie on SyFy. Well I ended up tuning into to see what this movie was about (missed about the first 20 minutes of the film). It was ok, but like Pack I rather have a serious movie rather than this goofy one. Like I said I missed part of the beginning of the movie so I was a bit clueless for a while. I didn't care for the ending myself...Cooper's dad was hilarious though. |
