For those who enjoy giant monster movies be sure to check out THE MEG, opening in theaters on August 10th, 2018. This film, based on the 1997 book "Meg", written by Steve Alten, features an enormous, 75 foot long Megalodon shark! Other giant monster movies that we fans can look forward to: GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS(in 2019) and GODZILLA VS KONG in 2020! PACIFIC RIM-UPRISING(2018), the sequel to 2013's "Pacific Rim", is about to release to Ultra 4k and Blu Ray. In these movies, 250 foot tall robots defend Earth from an assault of other worldly giant monsters(kaiju).

what can i say about jaws, first it's one of the first films i've ever seen and it scared me silly! wat else do i think of it? it's one of the greatest films ever made!!!!!! just the genius of having you use your imagination, to the great score, to the awsome death scenes! there is too much to say.
then they made Jaws 2, spillberg was unhappy with idea, and he didn't reply when the studio asked him to direct! jaws 2 is my second fav, the first will always be the best, but this one had enough for satisfaction.
3 and 4 i don't want to talk about this second, just that i think 3 is the worst jaws film.

Can you explain why you put Jaws the Revenge higher then Jaws 3? Nothing wrong with that, I agree as well, I'm just curious to know why.

Sure, I was expecting someone to ask me. topper

Anyway, I like Jaws: The Revenge more because of the characters (The ones from Jaws 3 were alright but the ones from JTR had IMO more development and were more likeable), The Musical score (Both films had good music, but JTR score is more darker and mixes up the 80's with the original Jaws theme well, here's a good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gps4rG0JiPs&feature=related), Special effects (Both of them had many flaws but Jaws 3 had more flaws IMO, thanks to it's usage of blue screen effects and
Spoiler: click to toggle
) and the pacing (Jaws 3 moved far too slow and got a little boring IMO). winky

There are three things that Jaws 3 did better at IMO - It's plot, Shark animatronic(s) (Had more body movements then the one(s) in The Revenge) and ending (Just slightly better). noddy

Over the fall I watche all four films in four consecutive days and must say I slightly agree with your list. I still find Jaws 3(D) the better film over Jaws the Revenge.

For me I like Jaws 3(D) more because well the shark looked better and Jaws the Revenge was just so nonsensical.

Hmm I wonder when we'll get the sequels still excellent news.

I'm surprised that they didn't do a boxset featuring the other three films.
