Thanks! Mr Green I certainly hope so, but I tend to fret and worry about stuff like that, not just things for myself, but shipping Christmas packages out and birthday packages. Sometimes, 'worry' should be my middle name. :)

I can put on quite a show, when I'm pleased about something!

In 1988, while working for a furniture rental company, I received a $1000 bonus-you can believe I danced a jig after receiving, with no advance warning, ten(10) $100 hundred dollar bills from my boss(the store manager). I actually danced with the manager for about a minute-thank God no one(employee or customer) had a camera. Had someone photographed me and Tim(who also himself received a $1500 bonus) kicking up our heels like The Rockettes, neither he nor I, both self-professed macho men, would have ever lived it down. freak out

I think I can give myself an ulcer from time to time. I don't know why I worry, guess I hate to think I've spent money on myself of someone else and lost it!

 Gee, for that kind of money, I;d have put on such a show, they would have had to smack me to get me back to work! Mr Green

The box art is very good. I can see why you would dance a jig at confirmation that this has shipped. tongue-1

My package actually arrived, yesterday and I spent a lot of last night and today watching the series. I'll admit, the episodes look somewhat rough, but that's part of the nostalgic charm, I suppose, they look just like they did when I was a kid. :) I think if I'd spend $80 on this set, I might have been a little less happy, but for $19.99, no complaints and the episodes are fun to re-visit.

Nostalgic charm. Indeed. Watching these old classic cartoons brings back many memories for me also, all good ones, which is exactly why I am such a fan of the older Hanna-Barbera animated series. Another reason I so strongly prefer the older cartoons: because IMO the newer cartoons are not very good. eyebrow

Couldn't agree more about the newer toons, Lee. There's just nothing memorable about them, they hold no charm for me and I feel quite a bit of sadness when I turn on the TV any Saturday morning, as there's NOTHING on that is fun for kids, these days.

And the way things are going, there may be less and less things on TV that are fun for adults. I can always escape the nauseating glut of reality TV shows, talent shows like American Idiot...er American Idol, the current ripoff of this show being hosted by television journeyman Regis Philbin, and other things on TV I don't like, by watching ESPN, ESPN2, TCM, AMC(sometimes), or the DISCOVERY CHANNEL/HISTORY CHANNEL.

I hear you, Lee! I watch less and less commercial channels and more and more of the cable channels.....ESPN, ESPN 2, TLC, Discovery, History Channel, etc. I wish my cable provider offered, the International History Channel, they just added, the NFL Network, which is pretty cool! thumbs up

I have heard great things about the NFL Network, but as busy as I'll be in the fall(with side work) I have a hard enough time trying to watch all the NFL games on ESPN, Fox, and CBS. There will games on NBC this coming season also. freak out
