I'm glad to see they didn't reveal too much about Talbot, in full "Wolfman" makeup, in the trailer. Me, I would have shown no facial shots at all of the monster(there seemed to be a brief glimpse of the beast in the final sequence).

The acting, makeup effects and sets of this film, as well as the cinematography, will hopefully result in The Wolfman being a financial success.
I hope so too, I also hope It will be accepted by Critics too.

The Wolfman remake, starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, has had its theatrical release date pushed back(again) to February, 2010. Universal making this move to accommodate some more special effects changes and additions. What kind of changes? Those regarding Del Toro as the monster. Up to now the officially released photos of Del Toro in full monster makeup suggested a creature like the one in the original 1941 film of the same name, a two legged, humanoid "wolf man". If you believe the posted link below the studio is opting to go with effects changes that make Del Toro's character "Lawrence Talbot" a quadrupedal, or four legged monster.

If this change is true, then here's my reaction to news of this effects change:

vomitard Goddamnit.

Oh yeah. I heard about the changes. That's just stupid. I still haven't seen the original, but it seems so obvious to me that the Woflman needs to walk on two legs.

Ken Hulsey has posted some new images from "The Wolfman" remake at his blog: http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2009/08/huge-batch-of-photos-from-universals.html

I would like to reiterate that I hope this film remains fairly true to the 1941 original, with Lawrence Talbot morphing into a humanoid monster and not a quadripedal, over-sized wolf. winky

The official trailer for the film:

I like the trailer. wolfy

Fangoria has posted an excellent interview with Hugo Weaving, who plays "Inspector Aberline" in The Wolfman(2010). To read this interview click the link: http://fangoria.com/features/21-fearful-features/3669-exclusive-interview-hugo-weaving-on-the-wolfman.html

I saw the trailer yesterday and it does look great. And what a great cast too! Thank goodness the Wolfman will be a biped like the original.

Dan, I've seen some updates about this film that suggest that Talbot may look bipedal in some scenes and quadripedal in others. I'll try and post any more updates I see about this. I'd rather see a two-legged, more humanoid beast. Hopefully that's what we'll get with this film. winky

He'll probably be able to stand on two legs, but when he sprints he'll go on all four.

Here's a second trailer that's just been released for the Joe Johnston directed The Wolfman(2010), coming to theaters next year: http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_16771.html

I like this trailer as well. This film looks like it will be fairly decent. thumbz up
