MONSTERLAND FORUMS was created on January 29, 2006 for the purpose of giving fans of giant monster films and other sci-fi/horror movies a friendly online meeting place to discuss all of their favorite films and other things of interest like video gaming and sports. MONSTERLAND FORUMS has 284 members and over 148,000 posts. This online community is Zetaboards' fourth most active online community in the "Movies" category(among over 200 message boards). Spring has arrived and with it warmer temps! We're going to see some marvelous new films released in 2013 (IRON MAN 3 and PACIFIC RIM) as well as many terrific classic films finally released to Blu Ray including GORGO(1961) and LIFEFORCE(1985)! Our online community isn't the largest on the web but I think it's the best group with which to discuss all the movies I love to watch and also talk about other shared interests! This one looks super cool. It's a new independent animated daikaiju film from Japan directed by Atsuya Uki that's all the rage right now.: "A huge monster shows up on the top of a building of an ordinary city, prompting the Defense Forces to go into action and causing something of an uproar in the citizens of the city. Yuki, a brave-hearted and naturally inquisitive girl, happens to know a secret: her friend Tetsu has been keeping and raising a strange creature called Cenco. When a mysterious boy appears who has control over the huge monster threatening the town, an unexpected battle between the creatures begins. But what are each of the combatants fighting for? Who are they really? And by getting involved in the battle, what fate will Yuki bring down upon herself?" Looks interesting, especialy since in one of the trailers, one of the creatures can develop mechanic appendeges. Just wish it well at the box office. |
