Resident Evil 5 review

Resident evil 5 is a game you need to buy, the graphics are superb, the animations are crisp and the gameplay is solid.

Story: You play as chris redfield, a S.T.A.R,S, member along with his new partner sheva almar looking for a bio teariest call irving, along you way chris finds out that his former partner jill valentine is still alive after taking wesker through a window, so chris sets out after he catches irving, to find and save jill alone the way chris and sheva find out that wesker is planning to infect the whole world with the G virus, with weskers partner excella they set out to stop him after saving jill.

Gameplay: Gamplay is very good and a little hard to get use to but when you are youll be shooting like a pro, gamplay consists of a 3rd person view with your crosshair as a laser sighting attached to every gun you use. Quick time Events are used in this game a couple of time and look fantastic with the animation. the game also has coop mode with is what the game is ment to be, playing with your friends is just fantastic. the wepons you encounter in the game are also very good, there is a wide varity of wepons to choose from including
machine guns, pistals, magnums, grenade launcher, rocket lancher, Long bow, gattling gun and 2 close combat wepons which are the stun rod and the knife, the bosses are really good and there are a good varity of them old clasics like chainsaw man and L gi gantor are there alone with a couple of other, when you shoot enimies they react if you shoot them in the legs thay will fall over and hobble if you shoot their wepons or hands they fly right out, there is a great amound of jewls and goodies for the game, this is the kind of game you play over and over again, that said story mode only takes about 5 hours to complete, but if you want everything it will take you a hell of a lot longer. so far i have had a total play time of 80 hours and still want more.

Sound: sound is Perfect you always can hear birds chirping in the backround or Majini roaming around and the voice overs are good,

Final thoughts: if you like killing zombies and blowing stuff up this is the game for you, ever sniping birds out of the sky is fun. all your favorite resident evil charctors and there including jill valentine, chris redfield, Execella, and weskes and a few new ones including irving and sheva

Final Score: 9.9/10
Nice review, I've finished this game a long time ago and still go back to play it. I have to say though playing this game online with a friend is a blast! The computer controlled partner isn't bad but on higher difficulty levels the partner becomes a real pain in the rear end (running into the middle of groups of enemies, not providing cover, etc.)

I usually give the computer controlled partner a machine gun (some times the M3 shotgun), a sniper rifle and a magnum. So far I have had the most success with that setup. I have RE5 for the PS3

Farcry 2 PS3 review

Story: The story is set in Africa, You play as one of the few characters you pick at the start as the game, the story is pretty simple, you need to track down a criminal known as " the jackal" who is supplying both sides with weapons and explosives, the character you pick also has malaria, as you progress through the story more unfolds.

Game play: the game play is pretty solid, you buy guns from the weapons store and keep then in your amoury, over time they get old and start to rust and start to get jammed which gets annoying in a big firefight, most guns you unlock by doing missions for the weapon dealer which is basically blowing up other peoples shipments, the other bad thing about the game is that every mission you do is as far away as possible which means you spend about 10 minutes of driving and 10 minutes of walking which can get boring, enough of the bad let’s get to the good, when you wipe out guard posts you sometimes unlock safe houses which are really good because you stop at one during a mission, and has this nifty feature where you can set your watch to wake up at a certain time, which lets you do night attacks and morning attack, as you progress through the game you make buddies which will call you during a mission and give you a better way to do it and when you die come save you. When a buddy gets hurt you have the choice of saving him or killing him. healing is pretty good when you get shot he will pull the bullets from his skin or dig them out with a knife, if you’re on fire he will put himself out, when his arm breaks he will snap it back into place, farcry 2 also features a Map maker which lets you create your own map and share it online. When you shoot enemies they will react when there hurt they will hide behind things. When you shoot them in the legs they will lie on the ground and shoot you.

Sound: the sound in the game is fantastic, when you shoot you hear your bullet casings hit the ground, enemies talk to each other and use tactics. Footsteps sound real and shooting sounds great.

Graphics: the graphics are really good and you will notice them on a plasma TV with a hdmi cable I’m giving it 9/10

Overall score: 9/10

If you like shooters you’ll like farcry 2

Good review. It's good that you mentioned all the travel. That can get annoying. The other annoying part is how enemies re-spawn. You can kill everybody at a guard post or fortress and they'll be there again next time you come through. You can't go anywhere without getting attacked, even by the faction you're supposedly working for.

So basically, I really enjoyed the game at first, but after a while it started to get repetitive. The missions start to feel too similar to one another, and I would have liked a bit more story.

Bioshock PS3 review

Bioshock is a FPS horror game that doesn’t disappoint

Story: You play as jack, who’s plane has crashed into Sea, there you stumble on a underground city named “rapture” where things have gone horribly wrong, the citizens of rapture have gone mental, from plasmids which can alter your genes causing you to have special powers. This is all thanks to Andrew Ryan the creator of rapture. there you have to find your way to escap.

Game play: The game mechanics work great, everything works well with the game, the shooting, melee and moving all flows well with the game. Bioshock features an arsenal of weapons including, a shot gun, crossbow, grenade launcher, pistol, wrench, and lots more. all guns (except the wrench) have three types of bullets. Bioshock also features plasmids, which let you alter your genes causing you to set people on fire, freeze them, or set some killing bees on them. plasmids are needed to build your character. There are also combat tonics you help you in combat, physical tonics to help you extend your health and other ones like making cameras taking longer to see you. Enemies will roam rapture talking weirdly, they are fairly smart, these enemies are called splicers, some shoot you, some hit you, and some throw grenades at you. The other enemies are big daddies who protect little sisters who harvest Adam which you need to buy new plasmids and other useful tonics. The only way to get to a little sister is to kill the big daddy (or make him fight his friend with the enrage plasmid). When you have dealt with him you can choose to either harvest the little sister and get all her Adam whilst killing her in the process or save her but only getting most of it. Through the game you will encounter medium hard puzzles whether it’s finding out a doors key code or moving something with your telekinesis or burning ice to get through a door. To get ammo, health packs, and eve hypos (Used to replenish you plasmids) you’ll need to search bodies for money and buy from vending machines. During the game you’ll get rewards for saving the little sisters hidden in teddy bears. Every now and then a boss will come up, which is usually killing a smart civilian of rapture. Searching bodies and areas, this lets you find diaries of dead citizens or, bullet casings, screws, gas, and other items allows you to invent things like bullets, traps and other useful items.

Sound: 9/10. The sound in this game makes it feel real, voice acting is excellent, sounds like gunshots, big daddy moans and Splicers talking, all feels real, and the games music sounds great and goes well with the game. All the sounds, music and voice acting makes this game fantastic.

Graphics: 10/10. Bioshocks graphics don’t disappoint, 2K games worked hard on the graphics, visual affects and animations. Even on a normal TV looks stunning, playing it on a HD TV is what makes Bioshocks graphics top notch.

Overall score: 9/10. Bioshock is an all round stunning game in sound, game play, and graphics.

I rented FC2 last year and I just couldn't get into it, it was too much of a clone of GTA for me. Nice review though.

The same with Bioshock good review and great game.

Uncharted: Drakes fortune review

Uncharted is a 3rd person action adventure Shooter that doesn’t disappoint

Story: You play as Nathan drake a treasure hunter looking for his ancestors Coffin Sir Frances drake. You stumble upon the Coffin with help from Elena fisher who’s funding the expedition. You open the coffin to find Sir Frances drake’s diary instead of his body. You and victor Sullivan read the diary to discover there is treasure called the Golden man Who’s made out of gold) on the nearby island Called El dorado, you dump Elena on a island and go after the treasure. Once you get the location you find out the treasure has been taken by the Spanish, So you follow there tracks, At the end of the tracks you find a boat where they have all been brutally murdered. Drake accidentally trips off a torpedo which he is forced to run off the boat, when you arrive ashore Victor Sullivan has been takes hostage by mercenaries. One of them shoots sully then the boat explodes, you run off, to find the treasure and end up meeting up again with Elena.

Gameplay: 8/10. Uncharted is a 3rd person shooter, it features a brilliant cover system. Nathan rolls to a certain piece of cover you want him to, every now and again there’s the feeling of not that wall the other one but not too much. Combat is relatively easy you can run up do a one button mash combat move or a 2 button mash which is stronger. Enemies are really smart they will try to flank you and hide behind cover. In the game you will have to do a lot of jumping, which is fun and puzzling at the same time, Nathan’s movements when jumping seem real he doesn’t just do the same old boring jump over and over again most of his jumps and movements are different and seem real. The game is challenging when you arrive at a puzzle which you will have to look at sir Frances drake’s diary for hints and if you stand still long enough the camera will tell you where to go. Uncharted has a lot of scripted events which are fantastic. And some traps set by infected people. Which are evaded by pressing a button in a small quick time event and all flows well with the game. It also features a Jet Ski which is fun as you drive and shoot.

Sound: 10/10. Uncharteds sound it Fantastic, Nathan really knows what to say like a grenade lands near you, you’ll think or crap the he will say it or if you have to climb a massive cliff you’ll say “oh great then hell say the same thing. The voice acting is suburb and properly the best in a ps3 game.

Graphics:
9/10 everything in this game is so highly detailed animations and fantastic, in game graphics look smoking. It’s like playing a movie.

Overall: uncharted is a great game which you should expect from a Ps3 exclusive im Giving it. 8.5/10

Glad you liked Uncharted Napster. I've been playing Uncharted 2 a lot over the past couple of days, and I like it even more than the first one.
