Yeah at least 2 comments
I wish more people would comment on these graphic submissions...and that includes everybody around here that makes them. So far graphics topic threads have been one of the more less active areas of this online community. Hopefully, between you, your possible protege in "Inferno35" ( tongue-1 ) and others like "Napster" and myself(I'm starting to undertstand "layers" in Photoshop I think), we can make this part of the board more active. shifty eyes2

I have Photoshop 7.0 without any updates. I downloaded it using Limewire last year. I have come to grasp the applications of the various tools and image altering features but my biggest problem thus far remains layering and the creation, and subsequent usage of layers. Once I "get" layers I believe I can begin creating sig images that look half way decent.

When i make layers i Always create a new layer when adding something to the picture then if it does not work i delete the layer. Fading pictures in on the layer the the picture is on in the layers toolbox theres a thing called normal Click it and all the diffrent options come out to overlay, Lighter, Multyply. etc

Thats about all i know

Well basically what I did with your wolf sig for example,is smudging for the background, and I just used the wolf pic for that.
You can also use C4D renders.

I don't know how to use them. winky

I have looked over several tutorials on the creation and usage of layers in Photoshop: either I don't understand the tutorials or the tutorial instructions include things that my version of Photoshop doesn't have.
