So yeah who else is interested in this new Batman game?

The demo just dropped tonight for all platforms and I downloaded the PS3 version since that's the verson of the game I'm getting.

And all I can say is WOW this game is freaking amazing finally a Batman game we can be proud of.

The end demo trailer for the game made me want to play it more.

I will without a doubt be picking up the PS3 Collectors Edition on launch day.

When is it being released? What does the collector's edition include? The PS3 version has some bonus exclusive DLC also from what I was told.

It comes out August 25th.

The CE comes with

-Replica Batarang complete with stand
-Steal case packaging
-Making of DVD
-Artbook
-Exlcusive CE Challenge Level DLC

The PS3 version comes with Joker Challenge levels where you play as the Joker.

I played the demo this morning, and frankly, it ROCKED. It made me feel like Batman for a while. So I am most likely buying the full game when it comes out.

And Mark Hamill is just as good as ever in the Joker role.

If you don't mind waiting while the game ships, you can pick it up for alot cheaper at Amazon:

48 bucks for a newly released game is a pretty damn good deal compared to the 60 price point that this will cost in stores.

I'm not too worried about the wait. But I'll have to double check the price in stores when the time comes around, and also factor in shipping costs. Amazon could definitely end up being the best bargain. They often are.

If you have Amazon Prime which I recommend you could get the game with overnight shipping for $52.98 and you'd get it on it's release date or the day before.

I think you could qualify for a trial if you don't want to pay for the yearly cost right away.

Best Buy now matches used game prices so I think what I'll do is take that print of into Best Buy on launch day and see if they'll match it. I'd just get off of Amazon but I don't have enough on my one credit card so I'm going to have to put it on the BB card.

Downloaded the demo and played the game...I have to say before downloading the demo I wasn't even going to be bothered with this game...but now that's all changed. I definitely can't wait to play the full game.

I think shipping is free on orders over 25 dollars. It has been every time I've made a purchase. You have to choose the option for 5-9 day shipping, though. Personally I'm still not sure if I'm going to get this...not that it doesn't look like a good game, but I've still got games I need to beat.

Picked up my copy today after work, haven't cracked it open yet though. I probably won't get to it until the weekend though. I'm still playing my way through BlazeBlu so I might not really get into the game for a while. Oh and I got the standard version
