The first Godzilla movie I had ever seen was Godzilla 1985. I saw it when I was real young and can't remember much of the experience but I do remember that it was one of the few times that I was able to sit through an entire movie. I remember thinking that Godzilla was real and the movie was based on the real events. I tried for years to re rent that same tape, but the person that rented it after us never returned it. Then in 1994 my brother found King Kong vs. Godzilla at Walmart on Goodtimes Home Video. I was once again in love. It was then that I realized that Godzilla was fictitious but that didn't matter to me. He later bought the Goodtimes version of Godzilla vs. The Cosmic Monster and then I received the Goodtimes version of Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster. That started the long obsession. |

When I was, I think seven I saw Godzilla: 2000 on my tv and that is how it worked its way into my top ten. |
