Hi daikaiju and giant monster fans! I'm taking this opportunity to inlist your help in saving a new obscure little Japanese daikaiju film from fading away into obscurity. The film is an independent b&w short that is an adaption of the beloved Ray Bradbury story "The Fog Horn". The story which was the basis and inspiration for "The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms" which as we know itself was the inspiration for Toho to create "Gojira". This version is a more faithful adaption of the story than 'The Beast' was. It doesn't feature monster vs. monster or vs. military themes as most daikaiju films tend to but rather the more American rampaging giant monster theme. The film was directed by Daisuke "Daice" Sato and crafted together by other crew members from Replica Co Ltd. who have worked on everything from "Godzilla" to "Ultra-Man" to "Gamera" and more. The film was made as a demostration of their film making abilities and has never been released to the public not even in Japan.

My correspondence with the director and expressing to him how much I think this film deserves a chance at being seen by fans around the world encouraged the director to give us all an opportunity to speak up or forever hold our peace. He has agreed that if enough interest is displayed in this film then they will release it to the fans.

PLEASE check out our article on this new daikaiju film and if it is of interest to you then post a comment below the article to express your interest and remember to thank this director for the great opportunity he has given us. Let's not allow this little gem to fade into obscurity never to be seen by the eyes of the fans like so many others such as "Space Monster Wangmagwi", or worse; the 1962 version of "Bulgasari" or the 30's Japanese "King Kongs". Thanks for your time friends and we hope you will help in bringing this important little film to the fans where it belongs so that not only us but so that future generations will be able to enjoy it as well.

This is what I said, "Avery told me about this yesterday, and I am honestly excited. I want to play emphasis on a section from the above article on this film, “The Fog Horn”: “Help save The Fog Horn from becoming a lost opportunity, like those Japanese King Kong films from the 1930s we know about but will never see.” I do not want this film becoming that, special with it’s impressive crew listing and what it is based on. I am thoroughly excited and supportive of this film. Mr. Sato, please let us see it. "

I used wrong wording. I should have said, "less popular", such as "kaiju collector" and such...

I can now say that I'm working on a follow up blurb to the article with Mr. Sato's response and more that will hopefully address and inform the fans. It should be up in the next day or two. We're also working behind-the-scenes on some other very imporant pressing matters that need addresssed for the future of this film if we are to see it released that will hopefully work out for the benefit of everyone involved. If you're religious then pray for us if not then keep your fingers crossed! Also; we still need all the comments and support that you guys can give us. PLEASE keep it up guys and keep spreading the word! I can't stress how much the fans' support is needed and appreciated right now!
