Welcome to MONSTERLAND FORUMS! We are a casual and friendly online community of movie fans who like to talk about giant monsters, horror and sci-fi in cinema, on television and on Blu Ray/DVD. There are forums for sports, casual chat and video games as well. For those of you who like making art, writing stories and creating videos, our community includes a forum for these submissions as well. Check out our main index page and other board forums! Anyone is welcome to join our community!

MONSTERLAND FORUMS was created on January 29, 2006 for the purpose of giving fans of giant monster films and other sci-fi/horror movies a friendly online meeting place to discuss all of their favorite films and other things of interest like video gaming and sports.

MONSTERLAND FORUMS has 180,000 posts. This online community, while over twelve years old, is currently no longer as active as the early years(between 2007-2009). Still, we have a half dozen members who continue to participate here.

For those who enjoy giant monster movies be sure to check out THE MEG, opening in theaters on August 10th, 2018. This film, based on the 1997 book "Meg", written by Steve Alten, features an enormous, 75 foot long Megalodon shark! Other giant monster movies that we fans can look forward to: GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS(in 2019) and GODZILLA VS KONG in 2020! PACIFIC RIM-UPRISING(2018), the sequel to 2013's "Pacific Rim", is about to release to Ultra 4k and Blu Ray. In these movies, 250 foot tall robots defend Earth from an assault of other worldly giant monsters(kaiju).

I was surprised to find out that while we have a thread for the Aliensnarl Aliens Quadrilogy Aliensnarl (soon to be a pentalogy and later hexilogy jackazz ), there are no threads here for the Preddy Predator Preddy movies!

(and if they are here and I missed them, please say so)

Discuss the predator movies here. Your favorite lines, what you liked and didn't like about the movies, what you thought about them, the creature itself and it's weapons, and the new movie, "Predators."

Also, you can post youtube videos dedicated to the Predator, if you like.

PREDATORS RED BAND TRAILER! (I'm clicking red. Why the hell is this orange?)

I'm still waiting on a Predator movie where all the humans die and the Predator is the final victor...but I guess that's a pipe-dream...
Yeah... I would hate that. I'm kind of a human fan, myself.

Yes, we need a movie where at least one Predator survives. Maybe not all the humans die, but maybe a stalemate, or hunting season ends and it's time to go back to the ship...

But, you know, the only way the producers would let that happen is if it were Predator vs. Twilight... I'm hoping the fanbase ratio leans more in Predator's favor there...

I could live with the Predator and the humans fighting to a stalemate, it would be a fresh ending...or maybe the film ending with a Predator and human(s) realizing there is a bigger foe to deal with and preparing for that battle...would be a good cliffhanger for a real sequel

As for Twilight...don't get me started on that nonsense vomitard

That I might be OK with, as long as there is still some kind of spectacular resolution to the conflict.

How about a climax with the two remaining predators vs. three or so humans? One of the humans is killed, but not before seemingly defeating a predator. the second human dies towards the end of the fight, in an effort to even the odds a bit between the main human character and the big bad Preddy. The main human (Crom! Grant me Revenge!) manages to kill the boss predator, but is pinned as a result. Then the other one who was really only weakened shows up, but hesitates to deliver the final blow, as the last human is helpless (as we all know, killing a helpless victim goes against the Predator code). As if to reinforce the idea of sparing the human, it begins to rain, signaling the end of hunting season and the beginning of a monsoon. The predator releases the human, (plays a recorded voice that says something to the effect of "be alive when I get back") then returns to its own ship.

Looks like a Predator movie (or a game, possibly) may be coming to comic con next week:

Apparently it's going to be the first film converted to 3D for a home video release. vomitard

Now don't get me wrong I like the concept of 3D but this is just absurd. Give us a sequel to Predators.

I second the motion. But maybe they'll reveal that, too... sadlyicon
