MONSTERLAND FORUMS was created on January 29, 2006 for the purpose of giving fans of giant monster films and other sci-fi/horror movies a friendly online meeting place to discuss all of their favorite films and other things of interest like video gaming and sports.

MONSTERLAND FORUMS has 284 members and over 148,000 posts. This online community is Zetaboards' fourth most active online community in the "Movies" category(among over 200 message boards).

Spring has arrived and with it warmer temps! We're going to see some marvelous new films released in 2013 (IRON MAN 3 and PACIFIC RIM) as well as many terrific classic films finally released to Blu Ray including GORGO(1961) and LIFEFORCE(1985)! Our online community isn't the largest on the web but I think it's the best group with which to discuss all the movies I love to watch and also talk about other shared interests! For those of you checking out this message board for the first time give our forums a look: I think you'll like what you see!

And unto this, Conan, destined to bear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow." I thought it might be interesting to see these two characters duke it out. I'm referring, of course, to the 1982 Conan film with Ahnuld and the original 1986 Highlander movie. Two eighties classics having a duel to the death right smack in the middle of downtown Manhattan. And to provide a bit of context, we'll say Conan, during his adventures of the long-forgotten Hyborian Age, was cursed with a form of immortality very similar to that of the characters of the first Highlander movie. With ages of knowledge and experience now under his belt, his only hope for mortality lies in his participating in The Gathering, where the few Immortals left in the world are all drawn together and fight to the death for the Prize. I guess the voting here would be pretty one-sided in Conan's favor, but I'm also a fan of the first Highlander movie and can't resist the idea of a duel between the two characters, or even a team up between the two so they can take down the combined strength of The Kurgan and Thulsa Doom. Without his ding a ling I'm thinking Conan wouldn't want to live anymore: he'd obviously no longer be able to have carnal relations with Valeria or any other woman.

Though making Conan an immortal the same way the rest of the immortals in the Highlander franchise are immortal, that kind of makes Conan a second Kurgen.
