MONSTERLAND FORUMS was created on January 29, 2006 for the purpose of giving fans of giant monster films and other sci-fi/horror movies a friendly online meeting place to discuss all of their favorite films and other things of interest like video gaming and sports.

MONSTERLAND FORUMS has 284 members and over 148,000 posts. This online community is Zetaboards' fourth most active online community in the "Movies" category(among over 200 message boards).

Spring has arrived and with it warmer temps! We're going to see some marvelous new films released in 2013 (IRON MAN 3 and PACIFIC RIM) as well as many terrific classic films finally released to Blu Ray including GORGO(1961) and LIFEFORCE(1985)! Our online community isn't the largest on the web but I think it's the best group with which to discuss all the movies I love to watch and also talk about other shared interests! For those of you checking out this message board for the first time give our forums a look: I think you'll like what you see!

That's it.

My decision has changed many times, and probably will again, but for right now heres my list, worst to best, of the showa Godzilla films: 15. All Monsters Attack 14. Godzilla Vs. Gigan 13. Godzilla Vs. Megalon 12. Godzilla Vs. Hedorah 11. Godzilla Vs. The Sea Monster 10. Mothra Vs. Godzilla 09. Godzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla 08. Son Of Godzilla 07. Ghidorah, The Three Headed Monster 06. I was noticing I actually ranked Son of G pretty high and I was relaizing how much I actually do like that film and maybe that's why I dislike AMA, with the butchered stock footage and the lame Minya talking sequences. I guess it just feels like AMA really crapped on Son Of G in that sense.

I have come to like Son Of Godzilla(1967) more with the passage of time, expecially after watching it on DVD, and in English subtitles. Minya, a creature I have openly expressed my disdain for, at least has a plausible role in SofG. In All Monsters Attack(1969) Minya is, IMO, just a nuisance, amplified by the accompanying audio of the little monster, which sounds like(and probably is) the braying of a donkey.
