"Hear me, my peace-drunk brethren! You are being led astray by your weak and frail leader Queenchief Nuria. She colludes with the ponies to declaw you, to dull your fangs! Long ago the Kirin struck fear into any country touching the sea! We were rulers of bloodied coin and had respect! but now, now the ponies, the weak cowardly ponies try to take away your culture! They deny us our heritage! Join me! join me and I'll show you the true path to power! Through blood! Carnage and gold! I defeated your 'queen' in single battle... She has failed you and grown soft with her 'peace.' a lapdog for her Equestrian masters! It is time for the Kirin to return to the forefront, through fire and blood!"- The Warlord Ashwrath gave this recuitment speech in the kirin city of Aeros with a retinue of strange uniform looking kirin. Many are worried of the violence to come and are already petitioning Equestria to intervene.

| Welcome to Multa Saecula. A set of worlds aside from just Equestria itself. Many generations ago, the plane that housed Equestria; Terra, created magical portals to other dimensions. These dimensions are Lux, a land rich with magic, yet constantly under threat from the same. And Tenebris, a dark plane where only the strong and willful survive.
These realms have existed together peacefully so far, commencing in trading, the sharing of culture, and immigration. Though their political views are much different than that of Terra, they find a way to coexist, sometimes reluctantly. Walk into this set of worlds and discover what adventure, romance, or tragedy, awaits you.

The Steelhooves
Her Majesty's Most Loyal Subjects, Owners of her Glorious Machinations, and Managers of her Wonderous Empire
This is an engineering-heavy faction that prides itself on its alignment to nearly fanatical alignment towards Equestrian Ideals. This faction was widely known for their dominance of the luxury markets, their quality-made Metal products, their airships, and their ownership of the rail lines throughout Equestria’s many cities. However, things have changed under the leadership of Ironheart. Now, they have spent 30 years secretly pouring resources into the development of weapons and armor more advanced than their current Equestrian counterparts, mostly with a focus on Airships and Ranged Weaponry. These, however, are mostly with secrecy. They operate dozens of research laboratories secretly and churn out dozens of innovative pieces of magi-tech equipment. Most of these are in Las Pegasus, but there are some in Manehattan, Talos, and even one in Canterlot. They have a strong control over 15% of the Equestrian Economy, and indirectly control 15%. They are are actively in control of Manehattan and Las Pegasus, with rising political influence in Talos, have private militias operating within the mining city of Silver City, and operate a deadly strike-team of veteran guards re-trained into black-ops Steelhoof assassins. This fireteam is comprised of some of the best fighters in the entire plane.
However! Every Steelhoof is trained, in some way or another, in the art of management. They have either servants and skilled cohorts who serve them, and will pride themselves on what they manage. For Example, Saber Steelhoof, a low-ranking nobody in the Steelhooves, runs an entire rail-yard in Canterlot while MES Ironheart Steelhoof, the leader of the Steelhooves, personally manages an entire city along with the other Steelhooves of the organization. They’re trained from birth to be natural leaders and are generally social, but hide their terrible secrets with their lives. Only the higher-ups know of the more terrible secrets, including the Deathguard, but most Steelhooves know what is going on in Silver City and highly support the actions there.
Their home-city of Manehattan has been turned into a hub of engineering and innovation within Equestria under Glorious Morning, who is looked up to as a powerful leader but used his powers early-on to issue a brutal crackdown on crime. Las Pegasus has become a gambling hub and game-city for ponies to relax under the reign of Lucky Trick, while it uses its extra profits to fund a massive research complex underneath the city. Talos and the surrounding areas have become THE PLACE to buy all manner of Skyships and Airships from. Steelhoof airships are second to none in nearly all fields, including quality, speed, reliability, and secretly armament.
IMPORTANT PLAYER NOTE: All Steelhooves are outfitted with a rune engraved into the sides of their heads, hidden by their mane. This rune will activate upon a projectile’s firing at that particular Steelhoof to create a small magic barrier that will block the projectile. This barrier can be activated on-command and can be increased in power and strength, but is, at base, only able to block a single projectile. The Steelhoof does not need to be aware of this rune to activate the shield, as the rune will do it for them.
Expect more to come, you silly... foolish ponies.

Airships vs Sky-ships
And a History of them Both!
For as long as any mortal can remember the Steelhooves have been pushing the boundaries of airship development They wanted the faster, larger, and more reliable airships to grace the skies. However, the Steelhooves, were relatively unable to create a flagship airship brand to define themselves, and most were just patchwork projects combining technological advancements with good construction. This all changed when the gryphons took the forefront of airship construction. They actively involved themselves in every aspect of their inception, design, and construction, and their passionate love of the sky held no limits. The product of this was the Eagle-class airship, created 600 years ago by the master-builders of of the city of Talos. The airship was reliable, fast, durable, and quite large for its time. Its high-tech engines revolutionized the average speed at which an airship could fly. In fact, it was so successful that variations of it still exist today.
Soon the Steelhooves reached the pinnacle of airship development. The Steelhooves wanted larger, faster, and durable airships, but the balloons to support these monsters were too big and too unstable to really handle the things they carried. A balancing act was created. To stabilize the airship, a reduction in speed was needed or a reduction in size. To make the ship faster, one would need to sacrifice stability and size. To make the ship larger, one would sacrifice speed and stability. In addition to this, adding armor became outright impossible due to the instabilities it created, but airships were too vulnerable without armor.
After years of research and development, concept creation, sacrifices, blood, tears, and sweat... a solution was found. The XYZ position crystal. These crystals could lift larger objects for a cheap magic cost. By designing larger ships around XYZ position crystals powered by magic batteries and engines, the Steelhooves could continue to push the limits of their skybound designs. These behemoths became known as Sky-ships. These Sky-ships ran at a fixed speed, and thus were slightly slower than airships, but were overall more reliable, durable, eliminated the need for armor around balloons, and could carry far more cargo than any regular airship could ever hope to. The Steelhooves restricted their creation to Talos and the surrounding areas using various patents and currently churn them by the dozens out of the massive airship foundries constructed specifically for their creation.
Airships are still made, yes, but their focus has shifted to a new area of expertise. Speed. XYZ crystals can only move so fast in any particular direction, which is their main limitation. A hundred years after their creation, which is very recent actually, another development in airship-construction was made. The Thunderbolt Thruster, a magitech invention so advanced that to disassemble one nowadays would require a complete mastery in the art of both magecraft and engineering. Their purpose was to accelerate objects in a direction for a low magic cost, which was paid for by specialized steam-engines. Thus, the creation of the Arrow - class airship came to be. The Arrow - class was a smaller airship built around the structure of a medium-sized balloon, a trend that continued onward. The most modern Airship is the Lightning - class airship, which was clocked at a monstrous 310 MPH and piloted by Black Wing, the designer of the Lightning Class. Rumors are that a second, Mk II is under development, and will be released in the next few years.
To put it simply, Airships are built smaller and faster, while Skyships are built larger and more durably. In-between airships and skyships are currently being tested by Sky Strike on The Frontier, but rumors say increasing costs and mounting failures are driving the Steelhooves to abandon the project. This could not be further from the truth . . .
There will be more to come, my silly… blind ponies.

Magazine Fed Enchantment-Loading Crossbow (MaFEL Bow)
This particular brand of experimental crossbow has a special mechanism that applies a small rune onto a bolt before firing. This means that a crossbows can fire shots with different enchantments on every shot as opposed to being forced to fire many shots of a single enchantment. There are many kinds of crossbows that this can be applied to, but the usual are small, medium, and heavy crossbows, each of which is designated ‘small medium or heavy’ by their reload speed and draw-power. Then there is a second defining category that determines Lesser, Standard, and Greater MaFEL Crossbows. Lesser MaFEL Crossbows contain a selection of up to three runes. Standard MaFEL Crossbows can contain up to 5 enchantments, and once an enchantment set is applied to a bow it cannot be changed. Greater MaFEL Crossbows can contain up to ten enchantments. Note that the size of the crossbow and the category of the MaFEL bow does not determine the strength of the enchantment. The strength of the enchantment is constant across all MaFEL bows. The magic crystal within the crossbows is also constant across all bows.
Below is a small list of example enchantments and the estimated amount of magic the enchantment consumes from the battery inside the magazine.
⅙ Stun (sacrifice damage for stunning ponies) ⅙ Range (sacrifice penetration power to hit ponies farther away) ⅕ Barrier Breaker (sacrifice ALL DAMAGE to ponies in return for heavy barrier breaking ability) 1 Explosion (self explanatory) 1 Acid Ball (arrow has much less draw-strength , which affects range, but the arrow explodes upon contact with a surface or object, releasing corrosive acid on the area. Super Effective against armored opponents) 1 Lightning Spear (shot is propelled by lightning forces, allowing for greater penetration value and electrical damage) 1 Shrapnel Net (Unique: Ironheart Only. This rune sends a net of shrapnel at opponents, usually not killing them but dealing heavy damage to groups.)
Note: These crossbows are only available through special deals with Steelhoof members. Generally if they are sold en-masse, the variant sold are for a specific purpose and generally are lesser light crossbows for police ponies. Currently St Petershoof and Manehattan guards officially have these weapons.
