"Hear me, my peace-drunk brethren! You are being led astray by your weak and frail leader Queenchief Nuria. She colludes with the ponies to declaw you, to dull your fangs! Long ago the Kirin struck fear into any country touching the sea! We were rulers of bloodied coin and had respect! but now, now the ponies, the weak cowardly ponies try to take away your culture! They deny us our heritage! Join me! join me and I'll show you the true path to power! Through blood! Carnage and gold! I defeated your 'queen' in single battle... She has failed you and grown soft with her 'peace.' a lapdog for her Equestrian masters! It is time for the Kirin to return to the forefront, through fire and blood!"- The Warlord Ashwrath gave this recuitment speech in the kirin city of Aeros with a retinue of strange uniform looking kirin. Many are worried of the violence to come and are already petitioning Equestria to intervene.

| Welcome to Multa Saecula. A set of worlds aside from just Equestria itself. Many generations ago, the plane that housed Equestria; Terra, created magical portals to other dimensions. These dimensions are Lux, a land rich with magic, yet constantly under threat from the same. And Tenebris, a dark plane where only the strong and willful survive.
These realms have existed together peacefully so far, commencing in trading, the sharing of culture, and immigration. Though their political views are much different than that of Terra, they find a way to coexist, sometimes reluctantly. Walk into this set of worlds and discover what adventure, romance, or tragedy, awaits you.

Deep down in the crags, past the nests of monstrous beasts, beyond the graves of foolish adventurers, a pair of eyes open, looking into the fabric of the world. a wide grin accompanies them in a toothy, evil smile. "She's here~."
The one she would be waiting for would be led to the gigantic scar in the earth, a wide open valley of black and shadow. The voice would call out to her, leading her through winding tunnels and broken paths. The eternal rain would make its presence known even here, as streams of water poured down through the cracks and trickled down the walls, pooling up in fresh water puddles and underground ponds. Still the voice would call out in her mind, directing her through the rock and stone.
A rumbling would be heard all around her, the presence of... Something, watching her... Something large, lingering in the shadows. The feeling of a hunter stalking it's prey would lie in the air, following her as she walked deeper. And deeper she would walk, until she was met with a wide open cavern, with a high roof, and a lake where all of the water had trickled down too. The echo of the water would fill the her ears.
Of in the distance of the cavern, she would see a building. An extravagant temple, of smooth stone and lit with naturally glowing stones that gave the building a turquoise tint. The voice would tell her that she was almost there. She need only step inside, and all of her questions would be answered.

Drip. Drip. Drip.
Everything down her seemed to show the presence of water. She still hadn't quite gotten used to it, though she had been on Tenebris awhile now. Villanelle, as she thought of herself, stumbled down the winding passages, following the voice in her head. Well, following its promise, to be precise. Purpose
She is led into a cavern, and inside it, a temple. The voice promised her everything if she'd only come inside.
She steps in without another thought.

The inside of the temple is remarkably dry, with the crystals lighting the way inside. Dispite the amount of crystals that lined the walls, the amount of light was surprisingly dim. The voice fell silent when she stepped inside, letting the Autarch's instincts guide them further into the temple.
At Villanelle's hooves, something would brush against her as it slithered past, a golden snake that would hiss at her and then speed down the path. It wound around a sconce and climbed up it, joining the shadowy figure that lay across the altar at the end of her trail.
"Welcome, my dear vassel~." The all too familiar voice sounds in physical form. The light is just bright enough that Villanelle can see the figure, a thestral, laying regally across the stone altar, which was topped with a tapestry of some unknown mark. The thestral held up her hoof, looking to the snake that had curled up around it.

Villanelle looks at the figure with her indescribable eyes, rainwater dripping off her coat and mane of no particular color. A shiver from the cold runs through her. "'Dear Vassal'?" she asks, her voice thick with confusion and a peculiar longing.
Realizing she'd need to get closer to see the figure, Villanelle slowly walks down the hall. "You said... My questions would be answered..." she murmurs, afraid to believe, afraid it might be too good to be true...

As Villanelle stepped closer, the thestral's eyes would become visible, seeming to glow with a strange green tint. "I did." She says, giving the snake a small kiss and watching as it melts, slithering around her hoof and becoming a part of her body as a serpentine tattoo. She steps down from the altar and approaches the Autarch, revealing that her body was covered in similar tattoos of serpents, all of a seemingly liquid gold that looked as if they wound and slithered across her body.
She wore a black gown of unknown origin, its fabric laced with flecks of gold with a golden lining. Her ears held two jeweled earrings to match the golden necklaces around her neck and the bracelets on her legs. "You may call me Cora. And I've been watching you for some time."

Villanelle now stands more than a few feet away from Cora. Her coat of no particular color has now become damp, rather than dripping wet. An improvement, to be sure. Her indescribable eyes brief flicker across Cora's form. Interesting. "Watching me? why?" Villanelle could not personally think of any reason way someone would want to watch her. She was a disgraced military officer who had never even made the attempt to climb in rank. Mainly because she saw it as pointless, but she was told that didn't make it any less of a disgrace.

Cora continues to walk, stepping past Lolk with a seemingly absent expression. "How best to put this for you..." She ponders, though her words have already been carefully thought out. "Untapped potential. Your daily routine wasn't substantial enough for you, was it? That's why you did what you did." She gives a slight giggle and grins back at the Autarch knowingly. "I hope they have gods to sort out their souls~."
She looks back towards the entrance of the temple and walks towards it, heading for the open space of the cavern. "It's for that reason. I wanted to give you direction."

Villanelle manages to keep a blank face until the promise of direction is heard. She involuntarily perks up, the mask dropping to reveal to desperation she sought to conceal. "R-Really? You could?" she asks. It is almost pathetic, how easily that button was pressed. Then again, she was willing to cross planes to get here. It isn't as if there was any doubt she was both desperate and determined.

Mortals were so easy to manipulate. That hadn't changed. Not even after eons. "I could." Cora says. Best not to just offer it straight away. "What would you do with your newfound purpose? You can't go to your home. Well, not as you are anyway." She turns to Lolk and suddenly there is only darkness. The world around them had disappeared, leaving only the two of them. "I think you would be much better suited to change the multiverse as we know it, don't you?"

Villanelle is on some level aware of how utterly easy she is falling for this. However, that small voice is vastly overpowered by the burning need to have a goal.
She looks around the nothingness, before turning back to Cora. "We... I....That could be done?" To change the multiverse.... If that wouldn't be said to matter, then what could? "Yes. That would be better."

Cora offered a smile, then her body shifted to a haze of smoke that sped towards Lolk with amazing speed before she was right in front of her. "Then, my vassel. Swear your fealty to me, your goddess Cora. And I will bless you with the purpose you so desire. Swear your allegiance and recieve the blessing of a goddess, for what greater honor is there in mortal life than to serve a deity?"

Without the slightest bit of hesitation, Villanelle's hoof snaps to her heart. "I swear." she says, her indescribable eyes meeting those of her goddess.

Cora smiles and strokes the bottom of Lolk's chin. "Then I name you my inquisitor, Lolk Villanelle." She says, dropping her hoof to the dark floor. In an instant, the darkness faded away and they were among the cavern once again. One of her snakes slithers free of her body and coils around Cora's leg, hissing at the Autarch once again. "May you have good fortune on your quest. Your first task... Is to go to out and seek those that would free themselves of their shackles. Deep in the jungles, souls stir. They thirst for the blood of their tyrants. Find them, and give them a push in the right direction."
