 [size=7]Demons: The Enemies of Gods and Humans[/size] Demons are a strange race that was formerly sealed underneath the country of Sententia for a thousand years. When the seal ran out, an event marked by the zenith of the Great Millennial Clock, the demons were unleashed. They now inhabit the world and are slowly increasing in power. While, at first encounter with the humans, the demons seemed like a stupid, privative race, this is because they've spent the last millennium trapped, isolated from humans and gods. They are, unfortunately, quick learners. It doesn't take long for them to become accustomed to the human world they've been banished from for so long. As time goes on, they adapt, growing in strength and intelligence. All demons are born with a natural fighting instinct as well as a single-minded purpose in destroying/murdering/maiming all humans and gods, especially the ones that fight back. There are several subspecies of demon, including the most common Humanoid form. Others, yet to be seen, are the Transient, Elemental, and Ethereal forms. Rumors say that there are high ranks that control the lower demons, which would explain their hive-like behavior. |

[size=6]Demon Class: Humanoid[/size] Size: Slightly smaller than the average teenager Abilities: Excellent martial arts skills, rivaling most humans. They attack mainly with their claws, but also display skill in kicking and will pounce like a feline to attack as well. Outstanding Traits: Humanoid Demons are quick-learners and fast adapters. The longer a battle against one of them lasts, the more likely that they will figure out how to overcome any opponent. They display an insatiable craving for battle and blood lust, as well as a strange sense of curiosity. Weaknesses: The easiest way to kill them is by surprise. Their heads are also notable weak points and, when not taken unexpectedly, will guard their heads first and foremost. Also, despite having wings, they cannot fly. The wings are simply a vestigial appendage. |
