Date: March 14 Time: Evening Place: Billy’s room of Murderworld ![]() Billy’s door lead to a rather non descript hallway that would have belonged to just about any affordable hotel in the United States. It was lit but had a very empty feel to it. He came out of a door in the center of the hall way. Directly across from him a screen was attached to the wall. It lit up and showed Arcade upon his control throne. “Good evening William, or would you prefer Wiccan. I am told you and your fiancé fancy yourselves to be heroes. The problem with being vigilantes is that you too are committing criminal acts even if it’s for the greater good. That will land you in trouble with the police. Whatever happens in the next few minutes, you will be allowed to leave, assuming you are able to and not, oh say dead.” The doors at opposite ends of the hallways opened up and a cop emerged from each. Screens opposite them flicked on and all three in the room were in unison. “Hello officers. That boy right there wants to do some very illegal things. If you shoot him, you’ll be let out of this room, if not, then you’ll both die here.” The screens in front of the cops went black. The one in front of Billy stayed on just long enough for Arcade to wink at him before it also went dead. Tag:Wiccan Edited by Storyteller, August 19, 2015, 3:27 pm.

Character: Wiccan Date: March 14 Time: Evening Place: Billy's Room of Murderworld Billy didn't have much time to think. 10 minutes? Being a hero? What was all this nonsense? Before he knew what was happening though, his life was in immediate danger.
Shoot me?! No! don't shoot me! I don't want to die. Die. Die. Die. Do I have to die? Heroes die? Well of course they die. Everyone dies. Everyone dies. E-ver-y-one dies... I don't want to die. What to do? He only said shot! They don't have to kill me! But I didn't do anything illegal. How do I reason with them? Cops don't ask questions well. So many black and queer people know that. But they wouldn't know I'm gay. Yes, they do. No, they don't. Yes, they do. Gay. Gay. Gay Billy. Gay Teddy. Teddy! Teddy! I love you! Teddy's a hero! If Teddy can be a hero, so can I! I can have them shoot me in the foot so that we can all get out of here! I can do this! I can do this! I can... Oh shit! No! No! No! Not yet! Don't do that! Before Wiccan could do anything else, his powers started to take over. The stress and fear that this mission had caused him started to cause his electricity to overwhelm what control he still had left in him. The blue glow grew stronger and stronger as he worked himself into a frenzy going over all the outcomes he could think. Lightning started to dance over his skin and crackle around him. Just as he had decided to be a hero, the electricity surged and struck both of the police officers with all the force his body could muster unconsciously. Wiccan watched the surge happen. He watched the hallway fill with blue lightning. He slumped over once the power was discharged and started crying, keeping his eyes off the timer as it continued to tick down to zero. Date: March 14 Time: Evening Place: Billy’s room of Murderworld Billy was premature. Ms. Coriander had warned Arcade that his control wasn't the best and that was a common problem for young men, both with powers and other aspects. The fun of his struggle was over before it had even begun, but that would soon be remedied. Arcade remembered the dossier on Billy and how he and the hulking green one fancied themselves to be heroes. The police might have been knocked out before they could make any choices, but that didn't mean Billy was done. How much of a hero was he, really? How far would he go to do the 'right thing' and save those policemen's lives? Would he risk his own well being for them? There was a way to find out and Arcade had no qualms about finding out. In the hall, his face appeared on the screens. Scorch marks covered the walls and parts of the carpet were singed by his discharge, but the screens had been shielded and surge protected in anticipation of Billy's power. Arcade's manic smile temporarily pulled down into a forced frown. "Oh no, hardly twenty seconds in and you already knocked them out. They can't very well shoot you if their unconscious can they? I guess that means they fail and will die in here. What a shame." His eyes popped open wide and the frown disappeared. "Unless you help that. So long as their finger is touching the trigger and you end up shot, I guess it counts as them shooting you. Of course then you'd be injured and would have a hard time helping Theodore in the next room. Life is full of tough choices isn't it?" The screen returned to the countdown and Billy had his options.
